I make it to Makino 2 or 3 times a year and always wonder, after every visit, why I donât go more often. Definitely the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Cairo. So much choice on the menu that sushi, sashimi or rolls should certainly not be the main event. Their miso soup is always excellent. The fried squid and grilled mackerel were very tasty. We ordered two dishes from their specials of the day - the potato coquette and the eggplant miso that were both delicious. But the teriyaki unagi (eel) on a bed of white rice was certainly the star of the lunch. I also requested one item not on the menu that they were able to make for me. The service was - as always - courteous, fast and knowledgeable. We all walked away well satisfied and very full.

The place was full flies that was literally eating with us. Food was not at all fresh and probably not well stored inside decent fridges. The after taste was very bad and we threw away half the food cause there were flies in it. Terrible place to eat

The food is excellent and fresh! The best sushi we have ever had! A rich offer of fish dishes, freshly prepared on a grill of Chef "Laurenz", with a great show !! The service, executed by Mahmoud is outstanding. We have two great events there with masterful cuisine !!!Prices very okay !!! Thousand stars !!!

I ordered the Fuego 40 pieces platter, the sushi tasted very good and the ingredient were of highly quality. The miso soup was great as well. For desert I ordered the banana tempura and it was not bad but I would recommend the chocolate fondu instead.Prices are very reasonable (around 300 per person). I definitely recommend Fuego if you are looking for good Sushi in Cairo.

This restaurant was amazing. The staff was excellent and offered excellent customer service. We had the sea bass, prawns and spring rolls which was all very tasteful. attentive. I had the sea bass and prawns. I also had the spring rolls. Which was very tasteful.

Stayed at the hotel and went down to the restaurant for dinner. Absolutely loved it! My partner is allergic to shrimp and Raul the Chef was very accommodating.
