Having booked the Giggling Squid across the road at my daughters request to celebrate her graduation we left due to being sat in a basement with a party of around 12 extremely intoxicated diners who could only communicate by shouting at each other. Requests for an alternative table denied we decided to leave and found Mamma Mia across the road. What a great move!! We were welcomed and offered a choice of tables. There were adequate staff to meet the demands of the diners and the food was excellent. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend Mamma Mia to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price, with fantastic friendly service. Dear FamilyB123. Thank you for your lovely feedback. Have had his pizza when he has turned up but went last week then again this week and just a sign saying no Ricoâs tonight!Now if you have a business you need to be reliable, you canât just turn up when the fancy takes you.The Thai van that parks in Long Hanborough on Friday is 100% reliable, so canât see why Rico should be any different so I am over him! You can get pizza at off the Hook in Hanborough. So will go there in future.

My brother in law had chosen a new-to-him place to celebrate his birthday. Good choice Dave. Our booked table was ready and drinks were sorted quickly as was our food order. Dave and wife had the sea bass, my wife had pizza buffalo and I had been lured by the spaghetti alla pescatore.We all highly rated our dishes and I could agree that my wife's pizza was good as she gave me a hefty slice to try. My pasta had exactly the right amount of chilli so it gave enough spark without dominating. The only fly in the soup, not literally of course, was something the restaurant had no control over. A large group sitting adjacent to us had loads and loads and loads of laughs but one woman was super loud with a hysterical laugh which dominated the whole room. I was concerned that she didn't have a sharp implement handy! If you give the place a try, assuming she's restrained by then, you won't regret it.

Very cheaply made "Italian" meals that come in such small portions (I had the gorgonzola and walnut ravioli) and for a very high price: 13 pounds for something that is the size of a starter. Ravioli were overcooked, pesto was just full of salt and I couldn't taste any gorgonzola; the carbonara that I tried of a friend was packed with cream and very heavy. Horrible.I am so sorry you did not enjoy your meal with us. We would have happily remade your order and offered other dishes if we had known when we checked back.I'd love hear back from you if you could please call me directly at the restaurant.Thank you.

We ate here as part of a Virgin experience combined with a visit to Blenheim Palace. It seemed once we mentioned the deal we were treated very shoddily, service to us was really slow in fact another couple came in at the same time and had eaten and left just as we were getting our mains. We didnât stay to finish the meal and what we had seemed poor quality. The staff were more interested in a couple of their mates at the bar than serving customers.

Visited with a group of friends for dinner. We walked out whilst trying to order - the staff were so rude shouting at us when we wanted to order something actually listed on the menu which the chef couldnât make for whatever reason. Even the chef stuck his head out of the kitchen and yelled. Horrible experience and dreadful customer service. No one should stand for that. We didnât and none of our group will be going there again.

Starter was great, main was meh, neither me of the wife really liked them.. She has the chicken risotto I had the salmon in prawn sauce special.. That might be personal taste, cheese cake and some orange tart thing were extremely nice.. Venue was very nice but the toilets looked a bit down market..I would visit again if I was in the town Mr Carl Thank you for taking your time and giving us your opinion (Review)Mr Carl I really feel like to apologise about the not great experience in my Restaurant But I can ensure you that is not our standard I have had a chat with the manager after your review we do agree that your Salmon may not have been 0 great !
