We booked a table for 8pm and were greated by a pleasant staff member who directed us to our prepared table. Although the place was busy our waitress took our order and brought our drinks very quickly along with a jug of water and 6 glasses. All our food was delivered hot and fresh after a short, though acceptable, wait. The food was delicious and we were very pleased indeed with the service given.A place we would certainly return to.

We ate here as quite a large group. Whilst it is an order at the bar service the service was friendly and efficient. The pizza menu was pleasantly different and well prepared with a wide choice of accompanying dips. An excellent selection of ciders too.Hey there PeterG022! I recognise some of the more negative reviews on here are mainly down to slow service but it was busy and we certainly didnât experience this. With one pizza oven, itâs clear itâs not going to take 10 minutes for food to come, so itâs important to come with this expectation. Service was friendly and meal was good value. The other pizzas say theyâre for 2 but depending on how hungry you are itâs probably 2-4 (we got through it though!) Loved having the option to divide pizzas into thirds as well as halves: this enabled us to try some of the more unusual toppings, which were great. Will return.

Have been to various Asks, but like Winchester best, so were disappointed last night to be kept waiting for ages to be served, and then receiving sub standard pasta. When We expressed our displeasure, the manager âHâ was absolutely amazing, he apologised profusely, and actually went and cooked me a new dish of pasta himself! Which incidentally was the best Iâd ever had in any chain Italian restaurant. Weâll certainly be back.

Visiting friends in the area so came here for lunch while spending the day in Winchester - needed my equilibrium restored after a horrible day's travel yesterday - flight from Aberdeen to Heathrow left six & a half hours later than scheduled! Large, delicious pizzas for not very much money at all, lovely friendly people working there, & the whole experience really hit the spot, including leftovers from both our pizzas for my friend's husband to take to work for lunch tomorrow! Had been telling my friend how delighted I had been with my experience at MOD Pizza when visiting friends near The Woodlands, Texas earlier in the year & eating here came a very respectable second.

After a great tour around Winchester it was time for a light bite. Sitting outside this good Italian restaurant we were well served by attentive waiters. Pasta Amatriciana for me was superb and my wife enjoyed her smoked salmon salad. San Giovese red wine was very drinkable. Worth a look.
