What an incredible find, attentive service, excellent food and brilliant prices (22chf for a 2 course set lunch). Not often you find somewhere that offers some great vegetarian options with the same care as the meat dishes. Service wasn't rushed but perfect speed to take time between courses and enjoy the view. With waiting staff being attentive without being intrusive. The most incredible setting and great attention to detail from the staff.Just need to go back to try the afternoon tea and an evening meal!

The service is great.. all staff are really helpful. . And polite.. the place looks well maintained and decorated. . The view is stunning from the restaurant makes it an ideal location for a romantic dateAlthough the food is average. . We ate dinner here twice while staying at the hotel. Both dinners were great, nice fresh ingredients & made to order. The service was also very good . You will never get a better view.

We came from Zurich to visit a good old friend in Thun. After dinner we went to the Atelier and i was stoked. A bar, as stylish and world class, you would never expect it to be in Thun, but much more in London or New York! In a kind of "wine-cellar" atmosphere you get fantastic drinks, most of them self created by the chef Ivan Urech. It's not only the almost infinite varieties of spirit ingredients, but much more tons of self made flavors and essences to complete your personalized drink to perfection. But whats the best about the place: in the midst of all the "bartender-perfection" it's still a bar for everybody. No judgement how you are or how you are dressed, everybody ist welcome, which makes this place so sympathetic. No matter after a business meeting or after a long hike, you will find exceptional hospitality. This and the matter of fact to be in one of the most scenic ares of Switzerland make this place so special. We stopped here a few days ago for a cup of coffee. The coffee was the best we found in Switzerland but not as good as home (Australia)...but we didn't go the Switzerland for coffee. The waitress, suggested if we wanted something special that the cakes were excellent and the cherry cake was the most popular. We shared one (it was close to dinner time elsewhere) and it was indeed sensational, and I'd highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere at Belle Epoque was warm and interesting.
