Located at the Sofitel. Not quite a bakery, but very casual. Thatâs fine and reflected in the cabinet food and limited lunch menu. Food sounded nice, if not expensive. Only one staff member working over lunch, taking orders and payment, making drinks, serving food and drinks. Ordered BLAT with no avocado. Order not delivered as requested. Very slow service due to staffing levels. Seemed to be a manager and friend at a nearby table. Did not assist in any way. Cudos to the staff member attempting to deal with multiple tasks. But, not good enough for a hotel of this calibre.

We had a lunch and morning coffee here and found the service, food and atmosphere very good. Friendly professional staff definitely helped make the visits positive. For the lunch we shared three small plates of coconut coated prawns, chicken skewers and ginger meatballs all delicious with lovely dipping sauces. The coffee was good and we shared a lovely lemon slice. Recommend yby purchase try

Chose Cardos for our last night in Fiji due to consistent reviews and because of a couple of blackboard specials. Was with my darling, our eldest daughter and grandson. Made it with minutes to spare for happy hour. $4.00 local draught beer. Ordered Giant Seafood Platter and Fish Tacos to share between the three grown ups. My big girls let me down and left me smashing most of it myself. Lucky I had not eaten much all day. Fish tacos was maybe 8 soft tacos with salad, salsa and fish. Probably not enough ingredients to make up that many but we supplemented from the platter. Platter was freaken enormous. Highlight was the tempura prawns. I could have eaten fifty of them. Next best was the calamari. Super tender and delish. There was fish done three ways (including whole), chilli mussels, prawns in shell, octopus and raw fish. The only questionable bits were the prawns in shell.. not really sure what the flavour was meant to be and too much effort for too little result, and the octopus was a little gritty. Staff were friendly, music was good, vibe was warm. All this and three beers for $160 Fijian. (120 NZD). I would go back in a second. Donât eat anything all day before you go. Nuku seafood night...terribly slow service produced an almost inedible seafood platter!Mushy oysters,overcooked fish,cold chips and crab too hard to crack.Inside the crab,the meat was watery mush..Had to ask for implements,finger bowls came as an afterthought!You would almost have thought this was a new experience for the staff but you know this is a weekly event.It was certainly done weakly!This was quite an expensive dinner at$300 Fiji per couple so very poor value for money!A massive disappointment!

The reception at the Koro was awesome!On arrival, we were served wine, bubbles and all sorts of drinks followed by nibbles that kept coming; we sat at tables overlooking the infinity pools and the sea....WOW!Amasing buffet later...Fire Dancers performed on the white sands...Staff performed after speeches...punjabi, and western songs....all done by Fijian dancers...spectacular...so much fun...Paradise ...totally

Rainy warm night. Walk in to crowded restaurant with no booking. 15 minute wait so had a few drinks at bar...lovely. Staff so warm and genuine. Kids buffet suited DD perfectly.
