Reviewed By ike sWe were welcomed by the host Nick, a very warm and friendly person who showed us around. The rooms are very clean and stylish (Danish design). Surroundings are green and silent. Definitely a place worth a second visit.

A place to get away
Reviewed By kbamottEarly march visit and we arrived late so the place was quiet. We found our room, and the facility in general, does not have wifi. What could have been disappointing was one of the best nights of our trip. Without the ease of connection we were "compelled" to spend more time discussing our trip so far, talk about plans, and, worst of all were forced to spend 3 hours in the restaurant getting personalized attention and experiencing one of the best meals we've ever had. The facilities are quite comfortable and clean, There was no shower in our room but no matter. Breakfast was superb. The conversations throughout were enjoyable. Great hospitality. I don't know when we will ever travel that road again but Le Chateau will definitely be on our itinerary.

Reviewed By Benoit LDe dehors, ça n’en na peut-être pas l’air, mais il ne faut rien de plus ! La chambre est assez spacieuse on a même pu mettre 2 vélos dedans en plus de nos sacs. Les chambres sont très bien isolées car il a plu toute la nuit et nous n’avons rien entendu au point même qu’on pensait qu’il n’avait pas plu ? les rumeurs disaient que le déjeuner était copieux et... effectivement il l’est. À deux cyclistes, nous n’avons pas réussi à tout manger (pour info, la veille on avait pris une pizza en entrée au restaurant donc ce n’est pas l’appétit qui manque). Bref, je peux déjà dire à l’année prochaine !

Reviewed By Diane AWhat an amazing place, stunning location in the Ardennes. Stayed here for 4 nights and the hosts were lovely, looked after us brilliantly. As slightly older English people we don't eat much for breakfast, or meat and cheese so were very happy with cereal and yoghurt. Martine brought us a tray of beautiful fresh fruits including fresh blackberries she had gathered herself, delightful. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

Reviewed By sabientHeerlijke 5 daagse in Rendeux doorgebracht bij B&B de Notelaar. Authentieke kamers in een Ardeens huis, goede bedden en een prima ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Dichtbij mooie wandelingen naar het Arboretum, Saint Thibault en een pittige wandeling aan de barrage van Nisramont.

Reviewed By annemieaertsWe hebben met de familie een heerlijke herfstvakantie beleefd bij Katrien en Benny in de gite voor 14 personen. Alles piekfijn in orde, vriendelijke ontvangst en erg mooie omgeving voor lange wandelingen. Alles is echt aanwezig voor groot en klein. Kinderen worden in watten gelegd met zo'n speelkamer. Woning is perfect in orde, alles is aanwezig én enorm proper. Wij gaan zeker terug!

Reviewed By 747Dash8Although the property is located in a great location, the chalets are very small. Double bed is barely enough for two people and bedrooms are very claustrophobic. The staff will at first talk nicely while taking your booking and especially your deposit but during time of follow-up and deposit return, they turn extremely unprofessional and rude. You will be charged (from your deposit) for the smallest amount of dirt or mess that you do, even though they charge an official cleaning fee in the booking amount. Avoid this property and find an alternative.
