Reviewed By NickH318I had the misfortune of booking a 14-day retreat at the Akasha healing centre. My stay began on 17th October 2021 - this is important because Akasha has recently changed their business model and are no longer the healing retreat described on their website and backed up by the positive reviews. I can only describe my experience as extremely stressful. The polar opposite to what I expected. Having spent 7 days at Akasha, I would describe it as a busy family hotel that offers yoga classes. The majority of the guests had little or no interest in wellness and healing. They had booked a short term holiday using booking.com. While the first 3 days of my stay were good, the following 4 were frankly intolerable. I endured 4 days of screaming children and noisy guests on a short break with absolutely no interest in yoga/wellness. The relaxed and friendly vibe you'd expect on a retreat of this type was non-existent. Originally I'd booked and paid for a 14-day stay, but after 7 nights I checked out found a quiet hotel to escape the madness and salvage the remainder of my ruined break. I was of course refused any refund by the owner who was remarkably cold and unwelcoming. Completely shocked, I asked the owner what was going on? She replied, "we need to survive". That's completely understandable, but I don't feel it's acceptable to accept a booking (and payment) then wait until the guest arrives to notify them their service offering has radically changed. There are definitely good points about Akasha (food, location and premises), but if you are seeking an authentic wellness experience in the company of like-minded people you might be in for a very big shock. My experience and what you see on the photo's/videos on the Akasha website couldn't be more different. Now, please consider, this is just my experience/view from a single 7-day retreat at Akasha. It’s very evident Akasha have historically provided incredible service and brought a great deal of happiness and healing to many people. Without question, they have all the ingredients needed for a truly amazing experience. However, I do feel a responsibility to post this review and notify anyone planning to book a ‘healing retreat’ with Akasha to check in advance whether the clients are genuinely there for the yoga/wellness experience, or whether they’ve simply booked a short stay B&B. The answer could make a HUGE difference to your experience. Akasha: My message to you is simple. Are you a genuine yoga healing retreat or are you a B&B for short term guests? From my personal experience, it's evident you can't do both! In summary, the most disappointing wellness retreat experience of my life.

Reviewed By 465ovidiucI manage to book the room online and it was very simple. Everything was super. The view is outstanding, good food, nice rooms and great people. Is perfect for family with childrens. We will come again in winter.

Reviewed By cata7769An unmissable location! it is for the first time when I make an assessment after the first day of the stay; I do this to understand how much I was impressed by this location. I can't describe in words how good you can feel here. the rooms are spacious, the furniture is of good quality, the toilet looks great, the view is wonderful; breakfast was much longer than expected; I would like to make a single point about the lunch service and the food, namely that the staff is not specialized enough for the level and expectations of the location; I ate trout with barley risotto and tried to eat hungry but the combination and preparation were not successful - the fish was bland, tasteless and the risotto without creaminess, drowning. I noticed that simple, traditional dishes are successful. the breakfast beans are the best. otherwise everything is perfect!

Reviewed By kabubi75Abbiamo prenotato questa struttura per la notte fra venerdì e sabato 2/3 giugno, l'accoglienza è stata buona, tuttavia dopo cena, quando siamo rientrati sotto la nostra camera nel terrazzo su cui si affaccia il balcone della nostra quadrupla un gruppo di ragazzi hanno iniziato a strillare e ad ascoltare musica ad alto volume. Dopo le nostre rimostranze visto che era mezzanotte, la titolare è andata a parlare con i ragazzi che per tutta risposta hanno alzato il volume e ci hanno urlato contro insulti in un italiano stentato ma abbastanza comprensibile. A quel punto, nonostante eravamo con 2 bambine piccole, siamo stati costretti ad andarcene e a cercare un altro hotel. È stato scandaloso essere costretti a cercare una sistemazione a mezzanotte passata, con 2 bimbe di 6 anni. Ho vibratamente protestato con l'agenzia con cui ho prenotato. La proprietaria interrogata dall'agenzia di intermediazione ha raccontato una storia completamente falsa che parlava di musica con un telefonino minimizzando la cosa. Lei non sapeva che io ho fatto un video che testimonia quanto ho detto e dimostra come sono andate veramente le cose, dopo averlo visionato, infatti, l'agenzia mi ha rimborsato.

Nice place to stay
Reviewed By LeePetzuThe room was ok, not very fancy but clean. The bathroom is very small, built in a corner of the room, there is no ventilation and the air inside is humid. There is food is delicious ,everything is home made.

Reviewed By ברק חClean rooms. Very Comfortable (a 2 stair building). Nice owners. Self cooking kitchen. Very nice garden with another outside bbq kitchen as well. Very good price. Pitty they don't have an opption for serving breakfast
