I am a fan of Indian food, but I hadn’t had such great, flavorful food until today. I had the Pakoras appetizer and the Camaron Lunch with Garlic Naan and Blackberry Pulp Juice. Everything about my meal was filling and flavorful, I savored every bite. This was a great random discovery! Love the small quaint space and great service. Everything was perfect. Our meat eating friend loved the salad. The fish tacos were phenomenal. Everything down to the house made salsa was really amazing. We were impressed and will visit again and again.

Franco is the hip gal you want to just be pretty, but in a blow to your confidence, is actually quite bright too - with a true coffee program and an interesting, well curated menu, it's the friend w whom you'll always be impressed.Off the main drag in BE, Franco is home to a crowd is a mix of well heeled, work-optional 30-somethings, indie freelancers, and casual couples, all here for the thoughtful espresso and tasty treats. If you're in a breakie mood, the gallo pinto and avo tostada should not be missed - was tempted by the salmon sando, poke bowl, and tacos - and I've never met a superfood or quinoa bowl I didn't like. Menu is varied, skews bougie, so perhaps not to take your friend who in CR is still hankering for a Big Mac, but for most others, it will fit the bill. Based on a friend's recommendation, I tried this place out for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised with the numerous vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options! I will have to go back many times, as there are so many choices. I got the veggie sandwich, which was good (just would have asked that they not put in the middle slice of bread had I known). All the vegetables in the sandwich and the accompanying salad were fresh and the dressings tasty, not heavy at all.Although I didn't try yet, they have a large selection of different pizzas, along with a make your own bowl, with tons of choices of veggies, grains, meats if you want, topping, etc., that look awesome. The folks eating at another table tried two different smoothies and desserts, and said that they were great too. The staff were friendly and informative, and the prices are really reasonable. If you are in central San Jose and looking for tasty healthy food, this is the place!

We were treated to an incredible, one-of-a-kind dinner by the owner of the place! He explained the mode of preparation for the sausages that are the focus of this fancy fast food joint -- very simple, hand- and home-made -- and suggested specific wine pairings for each one. I usually don't eat processed meat, but broke my rule here and ate two: the chef's selection, and a second spicy offering. The chef's selection came with a medium-bodied Chilean Malbec and the spicy with Pinotage, and both pairings were perfect. As we ate, we took in the decor, crafted by an award-winning architectural team. I have definitely never had such an incredible combination of food, ambience, and service. 6/5.WOW! Enjoyed lunch on the back terrace which is quite pleasant surrounded by plants and lots of fresh air. The portions are quite large and filling. It was difficult to choose from all the veg options. Overall the food was tasty. Next time I will pass on the fresh juice as it was green but tasted like water.
