Muscat (Arabic: مسقط, Masqaṭ pronounced [ˈmasqatˤ]) is the capital and largest metropolitan city of Oman. It is also the seat of government and largest city in the Governorate of Muscat. Since the ascension of Qaboos bin Said as Sultan of Oman in 1970, Muscat has experienced rapid infrastructural development that has led to the growth of a vibrant economy and a multi-ethnic society.

Had played at Muscat Hills earlier in the week, (See my review on there entitled "Golf on a Cabbage Patch"), this was totally at the other end of the spectrum. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a fantastic experience. Course in tip-top condition, fabulous facilities and first class service from everyone we dealt with. It is a must play for any golfer in the area
