Average food. Expensive. Pad thai tastr like buttered noodles. Long time to get food. My wok bowl had no flavor the only edible thing was chicken. Not worth the hgigh price.

Great place to grab breakfast right on the beach in Tamarindo. They are closed during October and sometimes have weird hours, so call before you go. Many boat tours leave from the beach in front of this restaurant and it's within walking distance from beginner/intermediate surf breaks.

Wife and daughters were shopping, so son and I stopped in for a drink to kill some time before they joined us. Atmosphere was super relaxed and the staff (especially Adelso) were fun and entertaining. The Pura Vida drink was fantastic! Grilled octopus was flavorful and tender. We will be back on our next visit for sure!Thank Chip L for eating in our restaurant and trying our Octopus, it was certainly a perfect choice. Come back soon and combine other delicacies from our menu.We will wait for you!

Me and my wife went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and tried a lot of different places in the area. My wife is a very picky eater and since we found Asian fusion we havenât eaten anywhere else. This food is the best in the area and is also the cheapest. The shrimp pancit is her favorite and she orders it religiously. Iâve ordered the eel sushi, the beef teriyaki, the spring rolls and I am eating the miso soup right now and they are all deliciousWeâre glad to hear that you love food.. thank you for your good comment. Green Papaya was my favorite place I ate in Tamarindo. Aside from being decorated SO boho-chic with an open air dining room and swings for chairs, the food was also very delicious. I always recommend Green Papaya when I have friends traveling to Tamarindo. It's a bit off the main streets but in very close proximity (walking distance) to all the other bars and restaurants.

What a gem right outside the gates of hacienda pinilla. So far have eaten here twice during our ten day stay. First time everyone got fish and they ran out right at my order (sigh) so we came back a second time. Everything is awesome on the menu and they even made me a special fish plate as requested a salad and fish. Considering the prices inside the gates this place is worth the five minute trek. This was an incredible experience! Not only do you get a unique and delicious meal made in front of you while you relax, Noam also provides excellent conversation. Take the time to appreciate both the fine dining (each dish with a story and made from local ingredients, including from Noamâs own garden), but also Noamâs life story in general. You wonât regret it!Thank you Kate for being my first dinner of the low season: the two of you are so loving, and kind and fun. I had such a wonderful evening.
