Ancient civilization gets a tropical beach twist in Mui Ne, a resort town in southeast Vietnam. Live lobsters for usd1.50 each. Fresh scallops and fresh fish. Thats what you can expect at this harbour. Buy it and bring up to the restaurants nearby and they will cook it for another usd3 per dish. The early morning is the best time to experience the bustling market activity right at the beach. The round boats traverse between the bigger trawler boats and the beach and carry the day's catch onshore. They are round in shape for 3 main reaaona. Because they are taxed based on the length of the vessel, they are also more stable than a traditional boat and they can be made of plastic. It is also the place to see the sunset. You will take postcard pictures of the colourful boats , experience the true local fishing community and fill your stomach with the freshest and cheapest seafood for miles. Highly recommended.
