Day use park for fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding. There are picnic areas, restrooms, plenty of parking and great trails around the lake. Kayaks/canoes allowed through no motor boats. Dept of Fish and Game stocks the lake. Open year round.
Lake Tabeaud is a very nice place. You cannot swim in the lake, but you can raft, kayak and fish. ( No motorized boats) If you are a hiker type you can walk around the lake. It is about 2 miles or so. Fishing is OK. It is always quiet and there are ample picnic spots with grills for BBQing. The park entrance sign needs a new coat of paint as it is hard to see if you do not know where this place is. As you travel east on Tabeaud Rd. the entrance is right after a blind turn on your right.
