I been visiting this bar for around 20 years love the area. Gav and Sarah are the current owners and created a truly friendly and pleasant bar to watch the world go by with a drink or enjoy live sport on the large screen TV's. There is a great menu and a good selection of drinks. Gav and Sarah make you welcome, it feels like a local in the sun! The only down side is that apparently Gav supports some football team from Sheffield. go visit you will not be disappointed.

The necropolis is easy accessible by a rented bike or a car from the holiday resort of Alcudia bay and it has a great scenery so you just have to sit and enjoy the sound on the waves. Pay attention, as it is forbidden to sit/climb onto the stones belonging to the late cemetery itself.

Parque Natural S'Albufera de Mallorca

Hundreds of birds flock to this wildlife preserve, making it a great place to go bird watching.

We come here for a bike ride and had fantastic fun doing route 3 which is 11.5km, although total ride is 14km if you factor in cycle to/from start of route from the bike hire shop. You can get maps and start route from the information centre inside the park. Most the bike hire shops we found on google shut between 11am - 3pm but there is one a few hundred metres from the entrance to the park. Hire was €7 per bike for 4 hours. Some reviews say that Route 3 is badly sign posted, I could not disagree more the route was sign posted and marked all along the way so could not be easier. It is mainly cycling on dirt tracks not well maintained so can be hard work at times.

Playa de Ca'n Picafort

We stayed at the Exagon Park and our first visit to Can Picafort. What a lovely little town. Has everything you need without it being too big and touristy. The beach is lovely and you can hire sunbeds with the added extra of a safe on the umbrella stand, what a brilliant idea. The beach is sandy with a warm sea and not too crowded. There is a wealth of bars and eateries on the beach with Bananas being our favorite by far. There are some unusual statues on the beach which are great for a photo op especially if caught at the right angle, we did have a giggle over this. There is a market in the week which offers alsorts and I came away with a few bag of goodies, well worth a visit. All in all I think this is a lovely little town and if I am back that way I would definitely visit again.

C'an Picafort Market

We had a pleasant morning visiting this market, but I suggest you to visit just the first part with local products like fruits vegetables, olive, butchery .. The biggest part is with cloths, bags and other stuff which I suggest to skip it if you are not a fun for that kind of stuffs. Just visit the part near the shore in the morning and after max an hour you are back on the beach. We purchase olive oil, cheese, butchery and pottery. NOTICE: If you buy pottery and I guess other products remove the price tag. We had a unpleasant surprise arriving home and finding broken under the price tag
