Don Tubbs owns this wonderful gem in Bossier City. We visited on a Tuesday and they were serving alligator, down home sausage and king cake. He definitely has the best king cake which he is proud to say they sell over 10,000 a year. Also he has the Mardi Geas headquarters for beads and everything Mardi Grad in north Louisiana. Also, in Nov he opens the Cajun Christmas store which is a must see and shop event. So much fun to walk around this locally owned business.

My sister and I had a great time walking, sight-seeing, and eating at Joe's Crab Shack! We also went back the next day to see a movie. We had a great time visiting Shreveport/Bossier!

Free parking, free admission, trails for walking, benches for sitting. Nice diorama inside, small gift shop. Located on Bossier Parkway just south of Jimmy Davis bridge. The lake is called Lake Caroline and has an abundant of wildlife and you can kayak or canoe on it if you wish.

Boomtown is a more come as you are casino, where you see folks from the community and slot machines you can't find any where else. My favorite room at the casino is the king room with the jacuzzi in the floor by the bed. There buffet is one of the best in Shreveport
