It's only disturbing if you pronounce the Chuy in English . . . I personally don't want to eat "Chewy" chicken! But that is not a representation of the restaurant. The food is not amazing, but it's good. There's really not much else to say since there are 10s of thousands of chicken restaurants in Santa Cruz!

I order from this place to go often. I like their burgers and fries. Their place is clean, but nothing fancy and if you go eat there be prepared to wait.I tried ordering a few weeks ago when they had a special 2x1 going on, and they would not even pick up their phones and orders took over an hour.Call in advance to order before you go pickup.Also, they do not let you pay by credit card when you order in advance, so bring cash. This is very annoying.

Ventura location. Poor variety, poorly and carelessly prepared but the service was the worst anywhere. Sat at the counter and was absolutely ignored for an hour after the initial order was delivered late. What is worse, waitresses shouted to the cooks over my shoulder, pushing and bumping their way as they reached over me and other guests to get the food from the kitchen. A disgusting experience. Could never even get them to respond while they were busy shouting in my ear over me to the kitchen. I would never again subject myself or anyone to such an uncomfortable experience...

It looks like such a small unassuming place from the outside, but we're so happy this place was recommended to us! The place is small and cosy with seating both inside and outside. We both had the Gaira burger with garlic, coriander and butter fries. We've been all over this city eating burgers and this burger is in the top 3. It was delicious! The service was good (and fast). We arrived around 7pm and got our food within 10 minutes of ordering, but as we were leaving the place was full. There were more people than tables, which goes to show that it's popular. I can't wait to go back again soon!

By far the best cold beer and wings in Santa Cruz. Love this place and the staff. Great food, lots of German beer selections. Always a fun place to watch sports. Ask Bernardo to turn on your favorite sport on the big screen TV

I had the margarita pizza and a caprese Empanada, both were delicious! The pizza crust was amazing. My husband ordered one of the specialties and it tasted like frozen American food that was heated up. Atmosphere was nice... Very clean, comfortable, and good waitstaff.
