February 2018. Sunny sunday in Marina di Pisa, my first ever vist here. Quite a few place to eat were closed, this being winter. I opted to go here and settled inside [music a bit too loud for my liking] and soon after the place became busy. Plenty kids with mama's who seemed to have left the husband at home! I tried the starter [mussles], good, but not much that could go wrong with that. I had the "Vele al Marlin" pasta dish which was very tasty indeed, so would recommend that for fish lovers. Also had a grilled fish [good size but I would expect that for 16 Euro]. The bill, including a bottle of white [15 Euro], a doube coffee, and small mineral water bottle [no dessert] came to Euro 56 smackers. A bit steep for a sunday lunch perhaps?! No surprise that most people eating here ordered mostly just first courses. Would I come back, probably not...unless somebody else pays the bill ))

Great view and tasty mojito and spritz. They also give awesome breads to go with - complimentary! We only stayed for drink since place was kinda pricey. But view is worth it!

Recommended by Italian friends we had dinner at this small restaurant in Marina de Pisa.Our first surprise was the most limited menu; just a few starters, pasto, ( fish) dishes and deserts.The second surprise was the excellent quality of the dishes; much better than most places we have visited.The third surprise was the bill:2 pasti, 2 main dishes, 2 deserts, 1 bottle of good wine , water, 2 coffee and ( free) appetizers and free prosecco, all for just ⬠88.In short: a restaurant to visit ( and to be placed on top of the Trip Advisor list!

From Pisa Centre it's a long way to go there. We arrived at 7:10 pm, Thursday, everything was dark and closed, no one there. Checked trip advisor and Facebook but all saying it's open.After waiting some minutes we left.Went back to Pisa.Pity.

We were unimpressed by Bagno Italia after visiting for dinner. We were sat inside right by a portable aircon unit which wasn't the best table. We asked for a wine list and there wasn't one but just the offer of either sweet or dry white wine. The wine that we tried wasn't great.We had a starter each which was a combo of 4 different things, each pretty average at best. We then shared the salt baked fish and it was really salty...which it's not meant to be. The staff also appeared grumpy.

We had a selection of starters followed by two dishes of pasta one seafood we all said the best we ever had and another was crab ravioli with curry hint superb again .The whole meal was a good experience the owner where brilliant and the clients that took us knew everybody great experience all round .

Just near the water this cosy restaurant packs a big punch. It is typically fully booked so you have to book in advance. There is both indoor and streetside dining. The servers and manager work hard to look after everyone, they are friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is almost all fish and seafood, and the dishes are very tasty with good portion sizes. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

We went hoping to get some delicious pizzas before flying home (Pisa Airport is an eight minute drive) however I did not realise that they don't serve pizzas at lunch time. The menu came in Italien but the helpful waiter helped us to choose. We had the meat/cheese platter for two (our first for the holiday) which was delicious. Secondly we had - different to the printed menu - spaghetti bolognese which was the best we had ever tasted.This is not an upmarket establishment HOWEVER it is very clean and well laid out. It has an outdoor terrace and very smart, clean toilets. While we ate there, there was a steady stream of locals and workmen who can to eat and chat and recharge ready for an afternoon of hard graft. This is a wonderful establishment..
