We've gone to this place again and again over the decades, and the decor has changed very little -- but that's a plus. The restaurant's dark wood and separated eating areas provide privacy and a homey atmosphere. Menu includes pretty standard fare, with individual dishes and platters for two, which are big enough for three, especially if you have them served with a couple of appetizers, such as the baked sheep's cheese.

Etwas versteckt gelegen in einem Center eingebaut, aber sehr gemütlich und rustikal eingerichtet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung auch wenn er nicht wusste was medium rare ist. Ausgezeichnetes 400gr Rib Eye Steak von sehr guter Qualität und auf den Punkt gebraten. Sehr empfehlenswert und in dieser Qualität in der ostfriesischen Einöde eher nicht vermutet.

The restaurant looks potentially very good. Great location and good parking. The name -City Pearl- is rather misplaced. In spite of a half empty restaurant on a Friday night, service was slow and unfriendly. Waiting staff stood around and some new staff were ordered around by existing staff. The menus are confusing: looks like a newspaper and it took me a while to realise that it WAS the menu. I ordered pork medallions . The meat was too much (as everywhere in German restaurants) it was tough and dry. I could not eat it. I pointed this out to the waiter, he began to argue and did not offer anything else. I ate the chips and veg and paid the bill in full at the counter since no one came to take my money after 15 minutes waiting for the bill. The place has such potential but I will not go back.

Restaurant Pittoresk is part of hotel Am Schloss and offers fine dining. The restaurant & hotel are located in Aurich centre next to the pedestrian area.A nice atmosphere and good food define its character. On a Saturday evening early December the establishment appeared busy. We had our apéritif and dined in the restaurant. Decoration and table decoration give the restaurant a most pleasant ambiance. Staffs are very correct and service is friendly and courteous.The menu is traditional German. Nice food, well presented and tasty. We recommend restaurant Pittoresk to anyone who seeks good food in a nice atmosphere.

The historical Inn "Zur Börse" is belonging to the small historical city-ensemble in Aurich. You reach it in a few minutes in the City-Center and you will be coddled by a fresh, delighting regional kitchen-style. In addition the Chef offers typical seasonal meals and tastes. Undepent if you have a drink only, a complete meal or a "sundowner" you always feel well and in a familiar & very friendly atmosphere. Come in and feel by yourself, how difficult it will be to leave again .......

Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr freundlich. Das Essen war okay, aber in meinen Augen nichts Besonderes. Ich hatte einen Grillteller und wollte statt Leber lieber ein Hacksteak haben. Das habe ich zwar bekommen, für den "Tausch" wurden mir allerdings 1,50 Euro separat berechnet. Tsatziki gehört nach meinem Verständnis dazu, muss hier aber extra bestellt und bezahlt werden. Ein durchschnittliches Restaurant, welches von mir nur 3 Sterne bekommt.

Wir sind bestimmt ein mal im Monat hier und lieben unsere Steaks! Immer super gegrillt und lecker! Empfehlen können wir auch die anderen Grillspezialitaeten die alle super Qualität haben! Dazu gibt es einen Salat aus weiÃen Bohnen und Krautsalat! Spitzenklasse! Und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist auch super! Eine volle Empfehlung von uns !
