I'm beginning to think I visited a different restaurant to the one being reviewed on here. There is no way I'd give it 5 blobs.First gripe is also the title of the review. There is a pool table on the first floor that attracts kids. Bashing balls and excited loud voices is not befitting a restaurant. I'd understand it if it was s pub but it isn't.The food was mediocre. I ordered a pizza and while the toppings were tasty the dough was under proofed and very 'doughy'.A friend had pasta that was overcooked and stodgy.Can't see us returning if we are ever back in the area.

On another brief stay in Leek, we had the chance to eat here once again. Really enjoyed our first visit, so looking for a opportunity to return.It was a lot quieter on this occasion, being midweek. The staff on our visit were good, but not over friendly. Really enjoyable two courses, interesting menu, pleasant surroundings.

Ate here for a birthday treat and it was just right for the occasion. A very good selection available on the menu, everything was cooked to perfection and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.I look forward to returning here when the weather's a bit warmer so we can sit out in the lovely little garden at the back for a pre-dinner drink.

Last minute decision to have dinner at the resaurant, we arrived at 6.45 and took advantage of the Early Bird menu two courses and a beer or glass of wine for £13.95Choice was excellent and the food was fabulous could not fault it.Will be back.

I visited for the first time tonight with a group of friends. The cocktails are 2for1 before 7 on a weekday and every drink that we tried was delicious.We all had the tapas and I struggled to choose because everything sounded so good! The food was great and I will definitely be back to try the items I couldn't squeeze in this time.The only criticism was the pace of service, it's nice not to feel rushed but this was definitely on the slow side. We very much enjoyed our brunch today for my granddaughter s 16 th Birthday, the food was beautiful, lots of choice, great ambience, great service as always canât recommend highly enough thank you all especially brad for the lovey food and special birthday dessert Kiera loved it and it was her favourite flavour ice cream one very happy young lady , thanks all we will be back soon

Booked here as the reviews looked great but we were very disappointed. Staff were very friendly and the service was fab but the food was very average. Such a long night as well, 7 courses, big delays between courses - we were falling asleep in our mains!!
