This restaurant made publicity with a menu of the day costing 13 EUR. Once seaten, I was not given all options to choose from that local (regular) guests got. Food really of inferior quality ; bathroom very dirty ! Price for the 13 EUR menu when I came to pay the bill at the bar : 15 EUR ; I had spent not more than 15 minutes inside, eating the crappy food. La cosa che ha fatto degenerare il tutto poi è stata la proliferazione in TV di programmi di cucina, grazie ai quali anche gli ex partecipanti della Corrida hanno avuto accesso al magico mondo della ristorazione. Improvvisamente il nostro ristorante può essere massacrato da una qualsiasi "farfallina93", che senza troppo pensare e con un solo clic, può scaricare la frustrazione di una settimana intera. Sul nostro lavoro di anni. Lungi da me dire che non sbagliamo nulla, ma davvero certe recensioni non si possono leggere...che poi chi sarebbe "farfallina93" per giudicare in modo così "finto/tecnico" il lavoro che noi portiamo avanti da 20 anni con studio, fatica e una vita completamente stravolta?Sarà mica la commessa della merceria sotto casa che si è dimenticata di mettermi metà delle cose acquistate nel sacchetto? Sara' mica l'infermiera che stamattina mi ha trattata male perché non mi ero tolta la giacca prima di entrare in sala prelievi?Sara' forse l'ufficiale dell'anagrafe che ha sbagliato il nome di mia nipote che ora si chiama Lavigna?Lo sai che queste persone hanno sempre qualcosa da dire? Leggono il menù e poi ti chiedono se hai la sogliola, vengono a gennaio e ti chiedono il melone bianco, ti fanno vedere la foto della fettina che si sono cotti a casa e ti chiedono se saresti in grado di rifargliela uguale.Ti danno consigli sul voltaggio delle lampadine alla luce delle quali vorrebbero cenare, si presentano con le loro bottiglie di vino dicendo che loro preferiscono bere quello...cosa che noi, nonostante cerchiamo di mantenere un buon livello, gli lasciamo fare, in nome della tanto decantata ospitalità e con il terrore che se non lo concedessimo potremmo trovare una recensione faldopo poche ore.Abbiamo istituito anche una nuova figura professionale, "il salva recensione": sarebbe il cameriere meno impegnato in quel momento, che viene inviato al tavolo di cui si prevede lo scontento, "a fare conversazione". Abbiamo mangiato uno gnocco molto buono, forse il più buono in zona. Il resto, secondo un modesto parere è rivedibile... sia per i salumi, che per i formaggi che per gli Umidi. Abbiamo Riscontrato poca professionalità in sala... una situazione veramente imbarazzante anche da raccontare. Purtroppo non credo che torneremo.

This small very nice family restaurant had one of the best borlenghi I have had.We got several back-up of them and everyone was perfect.Also the fiorentina steak was very good that we had perfectly cooked.The service was good and we went out of the restaurant very satisfied.Thanks to the chef for the borlenghi

We (a family of four) had dinner at Ca' Nova del Tenente and we couldn't fault it. We had a set menu which consisted of five courses. Antipasti of cold meats, cheese, home-grown tomatoes, chutneys and delicious puffed-up pastries. Then there were crepes filled with vegetables in a delicious creamy, cheesy sauce. The pasta course had two types of pasta - tortellini filled with ricotta and spinach and another shape of pasta with a Bolognese sauce. Then the meat course of fillet of pork and stuffed rolled turkey, served with roasted potatoes. Finally the dessert course, which consisted of four small portions per person of a chocolate cake, an almond cake, something similar to a Bakewell tart and a fruity ice-cream style dessert. All of this was accompanied by several bottles of water (we could have had wine or beer but hubby was driving) and followed with coffee and liqueurs.All of the food was outstanding in flavour, absolutely delicious. The hosts spoke only a smattering of English (but enough that we could understand what we were eating) and were very welcoming and friendly.For our meal we paid a total of â¬100 which we thought was exceptionally good value.Ca' Nova del Tenente is situated in a beautiful hilltop location - we arrived just as the sun was setting on our final evening in the area and we wished we had discovered it sooner so that we could have seen it in daylight.

With authentic food, typical of the region delivered with excellent customer service from this lovely family Trattoria.So glad we attended this restaurant. The son of the family served us politely with good English (much appreciated) and knowledge of the food & wine on offer.

I love try the local and typical cuisine when we are abroad and this was exceptional. One dish that was quite unique was a "pesto:" of raw bacon. The view and the wine and the attentive owners made for a memorable late lunch.

This small Trattoria really sets the bar a bit higher. The food was just amazing. The waitress got out of her way to explain every dish on the menu (only Italian). We were seated inside because of a thunderstorm shortly before but it was pleasant (except the steep stairs). The wine list is also good. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions of food. The location is on a hilltop, so don't forget to walk further up and enjoy the view!

Abbiamo trascorso qui un piacevole pranzo in famiglia che, se fosse stato bel tempo, vista la location, sarebbe stato sicuramente ancora più piacevole poichè il luogo è molto carino. Lo staff si è rivelato gentile ed i piatti davvero buoni e particolari. Peccato solo per i prezzi un tantino sopra la media.
