Intimate, cosy, great service (impeccable actually), great menu, good local wines (REALLY good actually).We tried 2 1-star restaurant when in Budapest, and this one we would DEFINITELY visit again and recommend to everyone we know, if we had to choose between the 2.And I loved the great storytelling from the waiter when they came with the food. The area is not so charming but the food, the atmosphere and the waitress/es are the simply amazing!! They took care of me and my mother who has special needs. The food is superb with special attention to each detail. If you want great service, amazing cuisine coupled with excellent prices - you must visit Rosenstein!!! You can literally feel how well the restaurant is managed and how smoothly everyone works together with one goal in mind: enhanced customer experience!!

Having never eaten true Bulgarian / Transylvanian food I very much enjoyed my visit to the restaurant. I had soup which consisted of smoked sausage, beans, paprika and tarragon, it was delicious.For their main course I had catfish which was delicious, served in a pepper, tomato, paprika sauce with cream. Served with dumplings ( like gnocchi ). It was reasonably priced under 15 Euros for 2 courses and 2 beers. Staff had limited English by were friendly and attentive.

We were staying at the hotel across the road and thought we would try this restaurant. It has a very cool vibe interior, modern decor. The food is mainly Hungarian and they have a good menu. We tried one of the tasting menus (4 courses) and the quality was very good. Prices were reasonable. Service was also excellent. Highly recommend you try this restaurant if youâre in the area.

The place is OK. Garden tables are much better than inside tables, however those tables are air conditioned. The place is bringing to life the old stereotypes of the hungarian guest, who wants bible long menu, but everything has to be fresh made and request uncomfortably huge portions. The menu even states that the place is preparing everything fresh, but as a result of this you might need to wait quite a bit to get the main course. Portions are really huge. If you are with family then there is a playground for the kids and that is good. Prices are reasonable, but the quality of food is not better than average.

From the outside, nothing special but the inside is very nicely decorated restaurant, very welcoming and comfortable with a large indoor/outdoor seating area.Menu >> Excellent, it was hard to decide what to eat so I guess we have to go back again, and again.Service >> Excellent. Very professional. I was surprised at how good was the service for a mid priced restaurant.Food >> Excellent. Every dish was properly prepared and tasty. Really, not much to say about it but very very good food. Just for the fact that the menu had such a nice variety, one often wonder if the kitchen will be able to prepare everything nicely but sure enough, we had Angus steak, shrimp salad, duck breast, pork in 2 different styles, chicken, all were prepared perfectly. And I just loved the smoked duck liver appetizer!Dessert >> Unfortunately, very good... :-DCoffee >> Nicely made. Overall, we were so happy our friends recommended this restaurant so looks like it will be a standard go-to for us!! Totally enjoyable!

Very quiet when we visited the restaurant but the food we received was amazing. The salmon was cooked to perfection and a very generous portion. The pork cutlet with cheese and mushroom was also beautiful and full of flavour. Very reasonably priced and staff very friendly. The food is great and would recommend if visiting this area.

We arrived quite late after a fruitless search elsewhere in Vecses and found this gem, with an imaginative menu prepared to a high standard, even when we requested a couple of subtitutions. Admittedly there were only two other diners but this demonstrates a commitment to customer service that is sometimes absent.
