Don't be put off by the area as it looks pretty run down. The diner itself is very well maintained inside. It's set back from the Main Street behind a black painted railing and pretty garden area. When you get inside you will find an old style diner. They do not take credit cards and have a great menu. I opted for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs & 2 bacon ($3.75), coffee (1.25) and a side of corn beef hash ($3.50). The food was excellent, especially the pancakes. I would have to say these were the best pancakes I have ever had and this the best diner I've been to. My companions had 2 eggs, home fries, ham steak with bone in and toast ($6.99) and coffee. They were also blown away by the quality an quantity of the food. The staff were extremely friendly as we're the locals who were dining there. Drop in if you are in the area and you won't be disappointed. I wish I found this place on my first day.

Was really hoping this place would be good, however the ordering system somehow âlostâ our order and we sat and watched others who came in after us eat and leave , very frustrating especially when hangry. The owner did take some money off the bill, but it should have been free honestly. The place is also filthy, the dining room, booths and bathrooms. When we finally got our food it was good , however it wasnât worth the wait or dirt!

I usually have a decent experience going to this location...But this is the last time until things change...Sat down and waited as the wait staff past by us no one saying I'll be right with you...Finally someone took the drink order..We ordered our food and waited a long time to get our breakfast..The only thing warm was the scrambled eggs..I had ordered a side order of toast..Which never came until I asked for it..I was practically done eating when it arrived and was basically bread some pieces were buttered others weren't...The one waitress obviously doesn't like working there because it appeared that we were obviously taking up her time for break..the other waitress mouthed the words "what the f@#! as she walked by...I used to enjoy going in when there was a younger waiter and he was always pleasant..the only person on this visit that was nice was the guy at the front taking out bill to pay...So disappointed in their lack of customer service!

Would never have stopped at the Sunshine Café had it not been for the TripAdvisor reviews. More colorful and funky on the outside than the interior, which is small and rather nondescript with tables and booths jammed together. Still, the staff is welcoming and attentive, and most patrons appear to be regulars. The menu offers a good selection of breakfast choices that tend to be larger than what you should normally eat and also probably not that healthy, at least on a regular basis. But indulge we did. The food was good, the prices reasonable, and the clientele enjoyable â almost like joining an extended family.

Husband and step daughter had brunch here and we each enjoyed our meals: Eggs Benedict with a fabulous hollandaise sauce. Also cheese omelette. Delicious home fries and toast came with. Prompt service! Cute decor and quiet atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Breakfast and lunch menus. Heard they make a great Reuben.

Like another person said donât judge a book by its cover. Very small cozy restaurant. Kinda gives the vibe of a Waffle House. Staff was very friendly and service was great. We had no trouble getting a table but I could see as it gets busy a long wait. But itâs worth it. All 4 of us ate for $22!!!!! You canât bet that anywhere around. If your in the area I definitely recommend going here.

Found this gem on TripAdvisor. After reading the reviews, I knew me & family had to try during our visit to Niagara Falls...we are so glad we did! It was so good, we went back again! Very friendly staff, BIG portions, great food! If we are in the area again, we will be back!
