Wide variety of sandwiches, with interesting seasoning, veggies, types of breads/wraps and extras. Very popular with locals needing lunch so it is crowded with drop in traffic around the lunch hour. Very quick service by any one of the three young women who work behind the counter. One or more of them is the owner. Tuna wrap was great. Convenient location.

Torrington Bagel had the potential to be a great little place. They are inconsistent with their hours, closing early when they run out of bagels or opening late because they are at Stop and Shop. I have been refused a dozen bagels because they wanted to save some for other customers later in the day. It is painfully obvious that they have never owned a business before. As much as I like Ami's bagels, I won't go there anymore.

Met a friend there for dinner, loved the selections. Day two went back for lunch. Later stopped in to pick up salad, Italian cookies and a cheesecake for a family gathering. I was impressed.

Salerno makes excellent grinders with a very spicy Italian flavor. These sandwiches are not for the faint of heart, nor the small of stomach. Priced where you might consider splitting them, but don't do it. The one who gets the "big half" might wake up with a horse's head...Can't wait for my August visit to Torrington.

I have never eaten there but I get takeout quite often and have had food delivered to our office. Not really cheap but you get a lot for your money. Their panninis are excellent. Their grinders are good. The homemade peanut butter cups and anisette cookies (3 for a dollar) at the register are excellent

I've been to Nardelli's Waterbury before a while ago. And remember great desserts. I ordered online and the order was ready when I arrived ON TIME. I ordered to half grinders and a cheesecake parfait. The grinders were made exactly as ordered except I wanted a cold grinder heated and made notes on my order, but they didn't heat it - no big deal. I could have gotten a panini. When I gt there they were out of cheesecake parfait so I grabbed a Cannoli Parfait which sounded great, but was very disappointing as it tasted like vanilla pudding (maybe it was miss labeled) it didn't taste anything like cannoli. I'll be back again (minus the cannoli parfait) and recommend you try it for yourself.Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We are so happy to hear that you tried our online ordering service and that you enjoyed your experience. We're sorry to hear that your grinder wasn't heated and that our Cannoli Parfait did not meet your expectations. There are so many options on our menu that we hope that you'll try a variety of things and find new favorites. If you haven't already, we recommend the Italian Combo Grinder - it's a classic! We really appreciate your business and we look forward to serving you again, soon.Grazie,Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe

The place looks rundown and unkept, but the deli selections are good. Nice, big sandwiches, salads, and hot plates to go. I love their Italian combo and chicken florentine. It's a market, so other necessities can be picked up as well. Great single serving desserts as well.
