Well let me start off by saying OMG THIS WAS TRULY THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME I have been a fisherman all my life and this just blew me out of the water!!!!! Gael was the absolute best guide a person could ever ask for. His 2 friends (sorry bad with names) were the cream of the crop as well. Gael takes you through every step he was thoughtful courteous and ever mindful of safety. Absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing and we went to places I would have been to intimidated to go to as a tourist and would have no idea what to order. This was so worth it! Heimata was awesome and so knowledgeable! As he said “the tour is more than just the food- its about the stories and we meet as strangers and leave as friends.” As others have said- do this early in your trip so you can go back for more! It was phenomenal!

last year,i had to cancel this tour due to a ship malfunction, so i rebooked for this summer. sam and sylvie were terrific in sending me a prompt refund.. i have researched tours twice now and found this one to be the best value, most interesting and dependable hosts. unfortunately, due to the covid virus, i had to cancel a second time and again, they promptly refunded my payment. it shows their integrity and honesty and i do hope to try this tour again once it is safe to travel again. thanks sam and sylvie

Everything about this excursion was awesome. I'm not going to go into the individual things because others have listed them ad nauseum, but I need to call out that lunch was incredible, sights were breathtaking, and Pierre is a good dude. It rained pretty hard a few times, but I thought that just added to the experience. Hiking to the waterfall through torrential rain only for it to clear up and shine bright sunshine on the falling water was awesome. Loved this whole experience!

I was fortunate enough to try both the sunset tour and then the next day their lagoon snorkelling tour. The staff are warm and friendly and their boat is hands down the best in French Polynesia. The 2 levels allow you incredible views down into the lagoon. The water slide is a fun way to get into the incredible lagoon. Tropical fresh fruits and cold beverages - all round give them 2 thumbs up for both tours!!
