Vi skulle have en let frokost, og da jeg kendte stedet og bageriet for dets høje kvalitet, var det let at bestemme sig til besøget, vi blev ikke skuffede, venlig betjening, fint udvalg i lette frokostanretninger, som bestemt var både lækre og rigelige, vi drak mørk specialøl til maden. Nydelig lokale vi sad med udsigt til Aalborgvej, og cafeen var næsten fuld besat.

Her fik vi en lækker flamkuchen, som man ikke finder så mange steder i Danmark.Det var rigtig lækkert, og et skønt sted at sidde og se på livet der kom forbi uden for terrassen. Vil helt sikkert komme tilbage hertil.

Good selection with various fish, schrimp, heering, craw fish and crab legs. Does also have beef and various other items as Chicken nuggets. For desserts a chocolate fontaine with Strawberries and marshmellows. Cakes and more...Well Worth a visit.The crab and schrimp did not seem to be fresh, but frozen based.Quick and attendative service Minde staff

After having spent almost 4 hours reviewing the various local restaurants, we concluded that Strandhottelet offered the best chance for a nice dinner in Blokhus - and we were not disappointed afterwards.It was indeed a nice dinner based on local produce.There were a few minor flaws, but the overall impression was still very good.

Went to this restaurant because of the good reviews here.Location: not very nice. Not the reason you eat here. Service: 15 min before we could order even the drinks (we had a starving 4 year old with us). The waitress was nice and service minded though.Starter: the langoustines (Jomfruhummerhaler) was overcocked and just mushy and not very tasty. The shrimp cocktail was NOT made of fresh shrimps it was the kind you buy in a jar..! Maybe I'm spoiled from Gothenburg but the place brags about being a fish dealer as well...Main course: fish of the day was nice and well done. The fish frikadells was also nice. Something you would expect on a place like this, nothing more.Childrens course: fish frikadells with french fries. We got fried fish but they came out with a frikadell and the starving kid could keep the fried fish.House wine: white and rose, ok wine for a ok price.Overall: we had bigger hopes for this place. We choosed it entirley because we thought the seafood would be something extra. The cost landed on about 125 EUR which is not cheap. Its worth a weak 3 but since everybody else has overrated it I just feel its right to downrate it a bit.

In a touristy place like Blokhus, most places are forced to offer fast, basic and populsr food.In many ways so does Futten, but it offers a nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, fresh food, good value and they look after allergies well.Thisnis not fine dining, but on a pleasant sunny day it is a joy to sit outside and thenrest of the year there are nice, traditional rooms inside to enjoy too. Will be back.

Lunch. Great food at a reasonable price. Try the Cheeseburger with bacon and homemade fries or the "Stjerneskudd" with pan fried fish, handmade prawns, fish roe and fresh salad. Quality in every detail. Good service. Keep coming back here.Tip: Restaurant Futten is also good
