Don't fret, though, because despite its name, this mountain doesn't actually tremble... unless you've tossed back a few too many in one of the village's bars!

This new restaurant is run by a well known local caterer as a concession in what from the front outside looks just like a nice clean highway motel (Auberge La Porte Rouge). There is only a small wooden sign indicating Garcons Poeles but the restaurant is much larger than it seems from the outside. The food is just delicious and so fresh (and lower priced than most other restaurants in the area). The pike came with a spur of the moment choice by the chef: Risotto which was well worth waiting for. The beef flank came with scrumptuous homemade fries. There is an outside terrace and a view on Mercier lake from the inside. The staff is courteous and helpful. This is the best restaurant I have found in awhile. The hotel website has not been updated yet and still mentions the former restaurant.

The food was delicious. The restaurant was very busy and the service was slow, especially getting seated to our table. However, the server explained that the other server called in sick that day, hence the slow service. We would try it again.

Le Comptoir is an excellent restaurant for a breakfast buffet. With a large variety of breakfast items, a egg bar and a mini cold section, there is enough food to eat till you drop. For it's it's, the food were prepared really well, it tasted excellent and the servers were on point with the beverages and table clearing.Dear victorcyho , Thank you for your review. Really nice lunch menu - sat by the window with a great view. It was quiet at lunch so really nice to be able to talk. I highly recommend the salmon!

This is as close as it gets to feeling like you're eating in a "real" quebecois restaurant and not the "disneyland" Mont-Tremblant has become with restaurant chains that just serve burgers and pizza. This place has duck confit with sides of asparagus and zucchini - not the uncreative boiled carrots and potatoes. The fries are thin, long and crispy. Not chunky, fluffy or mushy. We even enjoyed our desserts (homemade cheesecake) and our Sangria to start. This is a small restaurant with a log cabin feel. If we go back to Tremblant, we'll head back to this restaurant for sure.
