The museum is not large, but gives a good overview of the Germans who settled in south Louisiana and particularly Algiers and Gretna. Beautiful dolls and beer steins May be interesting to those interested more in art than history.

Small museum but relaxing patio to enjoy a Guinness and eat meat pies. Worth a visit, especially if going to the Costume and Culture Mardi Gras shop across the street.
