The ginger beef was good, asn were the vegetables in the chicken chop suey and shrimp chow mien. The chicken and the (few) shrimp were very overcooked. The rice was one big clump. I'm not a connoisseur of asian food, but I think it should be better.

Went here for lunch and the waitress seemed less than impressed with her job. The part that horrified me was when we went up to the counter to pay.....there were ants crawling ALL OVER the counter with food nearby. I was so sick to my stomach. Never again.

This was the 3rd time we were disappointed. The food is slipping in flavor and quality since our first time here. The staff spend a great amount of time apologizing for the buffet being short items and when the refills do come out its only about 1/3rd the chafing dish. We will be checking out the other sushi restaurant here in Moose Jaw next time.

Visiting from Kansas and James was recommended by Miller Express billet. Our family loves Chinese food and dine frequently in the States, even NYC Chinatown. This was exceptional food. The vegetable "special " chow mein was very special, noodles made a great taste and texture, and the sauce was really good. Loaded with vegetables. Hearty portion size as well. Others at the table were very happy with the buffet. James and his wife are very warm and welcoming. Wish he had a restaurant in Kansas City. Would definitely go back.

Now called New Taste Buffet in this same location. Ate there last night. Good food. Good selection. Good staff. Reasonably priced. It was decently busy the whole time we were there. Right out the door of the Grant Hall Hotel and right behind the spa so a good location.

Whether you are dining or taking out this is by far best Chinese Food in Moose Jaw. I have seen a few saying of another but as a person who loves food this restaurant wins hands down!!! Donât be fooled but wrong advertising on radio about another place, trust me the Uptown is the BEST by far!!!

Rolled in about 1600 on a Friday, heading back to BC. Very hungry - Garmin brought us to the Jade Garden in quaint downtown Moose Jaw. Nice parking spot outside the side door, buffet just coming out fresh. Settled in. Wonton soup was pretty tasty, 3 bowls later I'm still liking it. Typical square commercial building style, however I was fascinated by the 'birds and lotus flowers' translucent panels in the ceiling in the middle of the main eating area - very nice touch. The food was what you would expect - it's all a mystery and semi-nutritious. The young oriental waiter/proprietor was very friendly and excited that his retaurant filled up so much so early in the evening. A popular spot with locals apparently...

We came on a weeknight around 6pm and this place was very busy. There were still lots of places to sit and there was also a buffet going on. We hit the buffet and it was hot and fresh. Everything had its own taste and was very good. There was not a ton to choose from but everything was very good. Will go back for sure.
