It was a blistering warm afternoon and I wandered aimlessly in Whitianga looking for somewhere to get a coffee and drink it in the shade. This place while unassuming to look at has a healthy calm feel about it. Loved my coffee!

Free Wifi if you spend more than $5. Friendly service, although didn't really need to hear the staff complaining to each other about what appeared to be a personal situation one of them was experiencing. The food was prompt and reasonably priced. The coffee not so good.

Arrived at 3:30pm since the opening hours were listed as until 4pm, and were very disappointed to discover it was already closed and all the tables and chairs were stacked up inside. Door was still open so not long packed up. Why not list opening hours as "6am - quiet" if you're not going to honour what you publish as your hours?

Great Brunch at Coghill Cafe with friends last week, the Mushrooms on Ciabatta with Wilted Spinach was amazing with great flavour and homemade red pesto, which was divine. Great friendly service and we have been back since for an afternoon coffee before a movie. Very much enjoyed our visits and will return.

Came for coffee. Lovely, friendly wait staff, good coffee, nice ambience and while we did not eat, we wished we hadnât, as we saw food being served. They cook fresh or have some delectable premade food, cakes and biscuits. Would definitely recommend fir breakfasts and lunch.Lovely clean loos too.

Had breakfast here back in Jan 2019 down here again in Sep 2019 for the weekend of the Scallop festival, no questions about it back to this establishment for breakfast both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Both mornings palce was flat out yet food didn't take long to arrive and cooked nicely. Great Coffee as well, Order a Flat White in a bucket with no froth. Flat White arrives in a Latte bowl and no froth. Just what I ordered THANK YOU. You would not beleive how hard it is to get a flat white without froth in so many places around NZ
