Wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, muss man vorbei schauen. Das Knödelglück ist wirklich ein tolles Restaurant. Man schmeckt richtig, dass frisch und mit Liebe gekocht wird. Das Ambiente ist wirklich einzigartig. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Tag erwischt und die Aussicht mit einem Glas Wein auf der Sonnenterrasse genossen. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, Wein und Veneziano tip top, das Essen, wie schon erwähnt ausgesprochen lecker. Die Portionen sind zwar nicht übertrieben groÃ, allerdings ausreichend und es soll ja auch noch Platz für den Nachtisch bleiben .

I love the Gasthaus Hochmuth. Getting there is amazing as the cable car whisks you up to the top of the mountain in minutes. The view is simply jaw dropping! It was a beautiful sunny day and sitting on the terrace 1000m above Merano is a memory I will not forget.But it is a restaurant and the food is very good. What a place to linger and enjoy the Italian 'La Dolce Vita,' even though everybody speaks German first!Sausage lunch was excellent and filling...perfect before a hike to Leiter Alm.

My girlfriend and I, along with her parents, were hiking in the region and decided to have a bit to eat at this restaurant/cafe. The worst decision of the entire trip. To begin with, the glass of wine that I ordered had a huge piece of cork in it (not to mention how scratched the glass was!). Then we ordered two warm meals and a salad. Normally, at a high class restaurant, all three meals are served at the same time. However, at this crappy place, the warm meals were served first, and the salad did not arrive until 45 minutes. The turkey strips were undercooked, and when informed they took the salad back to re-cook the strips but they came back with no difference at all. Getting sick of the whole situation, we ended up not eating any of the salad and ordered the bill which came 30 minutes later. The waitress were super unfriendly and had to idea what is wrong with serving all meals 45 minutes apart. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.dear nakanikowe are very sorry for the inconvenience and we assure you that this was a unique exception of our well- know hospitalitiy, most probably due to a fully packed location. our place and our service staff is an outstanding example for a passionate family lead restaurant and we would highly appreciate to welcome you and your family again.warm regards from cafe unterweger and it's team
