I almost never wait in line at a restaurant, but I could see by the plates getting delivered that it was worth the wait and I was NOT disappointed! Perfectly cooked eggs, crunchy hash browns, homemade salsa, and homemade GRITS swimming in butter! The staff moves people in and out quickly and efficiently, coffee was always full, prices very reasonable.

Delicious vegetarian food with an emphasis on varietal hand-harvested mushrooms, the darkly painted walls envelope its patrons providing a warm and intimate atmosphere. Interesting and expansive menu, offering flavorful dishes and a worker's luncheon special, my dining partner and I departed with leftovers to reheat for dinner that evening. Generous portions, I felt the entrees were pricey, but definitely delicious. This is a very popular place, all tables filled up at lunch quite quickly.

We have a family home in Monterey and happily my brother decided to try Crema. Three if us ordered crab cakes, served with hollandaise on the side along with perfectly cooked eggs and favorable potatoes. My brothers ordered Chile Verde, moist chunks of pork with a tasty green sauce. If you like spicy hot order the huervos ranchero their specialty.Our server Arick was exceptional , engaging, efficient and made our experience at Crema 5 plus.Happy we have discovered this unique restaurant and will definitely return.

We discovered this place via the TA reviews, and it was outstanding. Itâs a quaint little spot that had cozy a indoor/outdoor setting and outstanding food. I had the Chorizo Scramble and fresh fruit cup, and both were stellar. The scramble was massive and very tasty, and even the fruit cup featured a nice array of tasty berries and melon. This place feels like a slightly hidden gem.

We stopped here for breakfast on our last day in Pacific grove. I had the NY style eggs benedict with smoked salmon and capers. Awesome.Nice cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Worth a visit for sure.

Not to be snobbish but we appreciate and enjoy really good food. Our party of four each tried a different breakfast item. Omelet eggs were dry, corned beef hash okay but far from great, banana pecan pancakes all right, and blueberry pancakes okay. Decor could use refreshing. I must say we were all disappointed since we remembered it to be very good in the past.

We had a healthy and tasty lunch at First Awakenings after a morning at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. My husband enjoyed the Popeye salad while I was happy with the Asian salad (no chicken.). As the menu indicates, the restaurant was cooperative with my dietary needs. The salads were quite large. Our server was prompt and helpful.

Tough to find restaurants on Tuesday in PGâ but breakfast great here any day. Im picky about my poached eggsâ i like medium/not runny yolk and they did perfectly. Plus-/ toasty croissant instead of limp english muffin was treat. Wait staff were very helpful & made sure order was perfect. Latte was a little light, but nice size mug. Plus the building is so cute. Always have at least ine breakfast here while in PG
