We have been to the Park Bench Cafe many times. The fact that we are repeat customers may tell you a lot. While there is limited indoor seating the attraction is being able to be outside in the beautiful outdoors. We do not own a dog but it is fun to see all the dogs that do come with their owners. Good food and large portions.

A large group of us went here for dinner and we were not disappointed! From the Parmesan truffle fries to the salmon sandwich, everything was fresh and tasty. I would eat here again and again. My only complaint was that the restaurant was hot until they turned on the AC. But once they did, everything was great.

I always bring out of towners here, and they always want to go back. It is a local favorite away from all the long waits on main street that often yield mediocre service. The service here is excellent!!This cafe is friendly and the food is fantastic. they will make whatever changes that i want and i appreciate that flexibility. They are so cool and the food is, most importantly, so delicious. It is fun to see the occasional local rock band members frequenting here.

Harbor House Cafe

The address is Sunset Beach, which is between Seal Beach and Huntington Beach. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Seated ourselves and menus and water were dropped off almost immediately. Portion sizes are shareable. They were slammed just as we arrived so it took about 20 minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive. The vegetable beef soup was delicious and the right temperature. They have menu items that should please everyone except vegans.

You can't beat the location and ambiance by dining on the sidewalk and watching the classic cars drive by. The staff is great here but the food needs some improvement. We ordered the veggie omelet, sour dough bread, and raisin bread french toast. I can judge food by my first bite and the food just wasn't fabulous here. It wasn't terrible it just wasn't delicious.
