I havenât been here for years and not sure where the name change came from. This was alway the pizzeria and still sells pizza. Anyway itâs been changed for the better especially the toilets! It still remains a bit rough and ready and still has the same furniture going back some decades now but itâs well managed has very good services and dishes up excellent food all at a reasonable price. The elephant remains the main bar in le praz and still host various gigs throughout the season. Itâs kid friendly and has a pool table and dartboard. We ate here on the chalet rest day of Wednesday. You need to be in quick on a Wednesday as it soon fills up. Nice to see the place still going strong after all these years.

We visited this restaurant twice. Both occasions were unintentional but each was an excellent experience.On the first occasion we had arrived in the village and asked the residence we were staying at for a recommendation of a good place to eat. They recommended Lodge du Village. As it was relatively late in the evening and we had 2 young children with us we were after something relatively quick and easy. The initial impression from the menu was that the food was going to be a little more formal than we were expecting. We were delightfully surprised...The food was unquestionably fine dining but was so well balanced that even though it was late and we were tired it was exactly what we needed. While we were waiting for the main courses we were also given a splendid amuse bouche.Our second visit was also unplanned and they were able to fit us in without a booking. Again, the food was excellent and the one waitress managed all the tables in the busy restaurant in a friendly manner with no fuss at all - a true delight.A note for parents: the sausages are "English" style rather than the stronger "French" style ones so children will be happy too!This restaurant is competitively priced with food quality above the average for the area and high quality service too. If you are desperate for a quick breakfast this will do. Itâs adequate but if you have time walk further away from the station. The food is average at best. Croissants are good coffee is not. Scrambled eggs delivered with a few pieces of lettuce. The tray was dumped on the corner of the table. I could go on ... BonjourJe suis désolé que notre café ne vous ai pas donné satisfaction, câest pourtant un Nespresso grand cru et nous avons volontairement fait le choix de la qualité dâune marque mondialement reconnue. Je reconnais également que les samedis de février, en période de vacances scolaires, devant une gare, il est parfois difficile dâêtre parfait dans la qualité du service... surtout avec 3000 visiteurs dans la journée. Je vous présente donc nos excuses pour la dépose trop rapide de votre plateau petit déjeuner.

We arrived last Wednesday to enjoy some fine apres ski & were not disappointed.... we meet many like minded people delighting in the recent snowfall & having enjoyed the fresh powder, my son & I couldnât think of a better place to share a few drinks, stories & meet some great people wanting to share the experience together.Well done guys.... enjoy the rest of your season!! We stopped off for lunch and found La Valtellina by happy accident. Although we missed the lunch service they were able to serve us plates of meat and cheese, salads of mozzarella,tomato and anti pasta. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Great Italian deli in the front of the store. Recommend a visit

Excellent ambiance, good service, good value.I took the chef special pizza - raclette, it is huge! Best make sure you are hungry, after saying it was her favourite, our waitress later admitted it took 3 sittings for her to finish one! What I did manage to eat was good. My wife's burger was well presented and was demolished in very quickly! Chips were good too.

Always great to go back to Tim's place and enjoy a change from the usual French offerings. Tim's a great guy and is always present, making sure service is spot-on. Beer selection is great (Laganitas for example). Great food and cheery, attentive staff.

Lovely to get away from Meribel and head to Les Allues for a relaxed lovely meal. Food was fantastics great quality, a bit different and service fantastic. Worth the trip. Will def be back.Thank you so much for your review. Yes we are on the free bus route so we are easy to get to from the main town of Méribel. We have a lively bar and two restaurant levels above, and we have live music every Wednesday and Friday night too. Our menu has an Asiatic feel as well as encompassing favourites such as our homemade pizzas, burgers and Côte de Boeuf.
