Reviewed By JcsamoranoAwesome place to relax and get in touch with nature. Forget your cellphone and enjoy the property it is really beautiful, and full of views, trails and a waterfall. The infrastructure and cleanliness could be a little better, though.

Reviewed By josephbJ7293FLAfter arriving in Toledo after a 24 hr travel from ny and having our reservation at another hotel lost we came here with no reservation at night and was instantly greeted with warmth and what I can only described as pure hospitality We have been here all week and every day they make our stay fantastic Due to time difference we woke up late and missed breakfast They brought it out to us without missing a beat And it was delicious On another morning a friend of ours stopped by and we had breakfast the hotel allowed us to place it our bill with no hassle

I'd highly recommend staying here if you're travelling in Morretes or climbing Pico Marumbi. The room was adequate, and our balcony opened up to look at Pico Marumbi. The only issues were the problems with the hot water heater which wasn't working properly and had to be fired up every time we wanted a shower, and the sheets which smelt as though they were musty. The staff were amazing, very helpful, and breakfast was as expected.

Very nice place to stay but be prepared
Reviewed By nymanymaI enjoyed my stay in Pura Vida; the staff was very kind and warm and the room was clean and well maintained. The environment was perfect to stay relaxed. But I should have arrived there prepared; without a car and a local cellphone, we had some difficulties. The villa is located a bit far from the center of the city (about 30 minutes on foot) and taxis disappeared from the city on Sundays. The climate of Morretes is too hot and humid in summer to walk from the city to the villa and vice versa. We needed to call taxi but there was no phone in the room and most of the time there was no one at the reception area. Internet phone or whatsapp works, depending on the weather conditions. One more important point is that we should have cash on hand. It was not easy to withdraw cash in the city especially on weekends; thousands of tourists visited there and the ATMs of banks quickly became empty. And the payment to the villa is to be made in advance. If you prepared, your stay would be guaranteed.
