The stuibenfall is a beautiful waterfall with masses of water gushing over the rocks and down a very long fall. But the waterfall is only part of the attraction. At the top, bottom and down the entire length of the fall is a series of viewing platforms and steel staircases that take you from the top to the bottom or vice versa. An amazing feat of engineering! This free attraction is well worth a visit.

The staff are very knowledgable and very kind to the animals. The information given was only in German but we could understand most of it.

The "Otzi-village" is an archeologic open-air museum, which shows the visitors the lifestyle but also economic activities during the lifetime of Otzi.
We took our 2 young children to see this as I had been interested after Reading about the mummy found up in the Mountains. The attraction is not that big but there are various parts to see. The huts are very interesting and you get the chance to cook your own bread on a small fire. There are people who give demonstrations and you get a chance to walk round with a headset which explains the history of the place.
The cost of entry was about 16 Euros for a family of 4. We only stopped for about 2 hours but its worth also doing the walk up to the waterfall.

"Our work and our products should reflect our love to wool, to nature and to the Otztal Valley". In our family-operated manufactory and factory outlet in Umhausen you can see a big part of a handcraft driven manufacturing process of rugs from our regional Tyrolean Alpine sheep wool. This wool is delivered from growers whos sheep graze on places up to 3,000 m in the Otztal valley.
