The Tomball Depot complex has The Tomball Depot, a Gazebo, a Caboose, a small lake, a splash pad, and a new building with rest rooms. This is where the German Fest and other festivals happens. The Tomball Parade is usually on FM 2920, which is 1 block away from the Depot.
The Depot itself houses many railroad momentos, including rail road lights and lots of information about the depot building and the evolution of the town from Peck to Tomball.

Went there for the Hummingbird celebration. It was well organized with lots of things to see and do. And since it was on county property - everything was free. The grounds were lovely. Had not realized the best entrance was at Draper Road off Mueshke Road rather than the entrance on FM 2920.

My spouse and I decided to spend a Saturday morning to learn about Tomball History. The 10 buildings were very nice and the docent was okay for generic background information. Air conditioning would have been welcome on an mid 80's day in any of the multiple buildings.

We absolutely love going to the Tomball Farmer's Market. It has really done some growing over the last 2 years. Lots of great local farmers, ranchers, bakers, crafters, etc. I have my favorite vendors. MB Vintage Essentials sells the most fabulous lavender lotion. Marchese Sausage sells the BEST Italian sausage that I've ever tasted...try their sweet sausage. Its just wonderful. Manzioni Italian Bakery sells crostata's that will make you sing. Edmunds Farms offers beautiful, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as different cuts of meat that are organic and grass-fed. :) There are so many other wonderful, locally sourced choices! Love, love, love a Saturday morning spent at the Tomball Farmers Market.

We have visited several times before and there is always something new and informative. A great town that is proud of its history and place in the greater Houston metroplex. Very sorry to hear about the past curator's untimely passing! He will be sadly missed by all who came in contact with the Depot. We just hope he is replaced and continues the long tradition of railroad history that was created by Ken. R.I.P. "Train man"!!!

Great little shop that I have been to a few times finding neat things. The handmade jewelry is charming and priced very well. I also have made purchases of vintage clothing and accessories that are absolutely top notch to add to my wardrobe. The employees are super friendly and the place smells so good with scented candles burning.
