The water is just wonderful and once again we had the best night's sleep after our spa. The mineral water flows straight from the mountain spring, renowned for its healing properties since the 1800s. You have a private shower, toilet and basin. Shower before you go into the spa. For me 30 minutes is just right and when the buzzer goes you have enough time to get dressed. Don't wash off the water afterwards. Take your own towels or hire from the spa. The garden outside is an added bonus if you want to picnic before the spa.

Came here with the family after a bad experience at Te Aroha Spa pools.where we spent $90 and got bad service. here we were treated with respect, great service and only cost $20 for the family plus $2.00 for the adult spa. the day we came they had two young men doing a tourism survey on the Waikato. We all enjoyed our time here in all the pools and being a hot day we were able to sit under the lovely beach umbrellas for some shelter from the sun.

After visiting your spa pools I wandered into your i-SITE. I was instantly approached by staff who offered help immediately. I managed to pick up some brochures that i needed on different parts of New Zealand. I liked that you had a tea and coffee area with a donation bowl. I liked the three areas you had. I thought you could have had more souvenirs and a more of a local corner area just selling or advertising Te Aroha attractions, tours and accommodation in one area. I didn't feel it was enough with just 3 pamphets offered. It needed to be more inviting, and encouraging, possibly more personalised.

From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome. Knowledgeable local folk run this museum that once house the bath house. Interestingly laid out artefacts and even a film telling you the history of the building and the area. Will be great to bring our grandchildren. The building is in a wonderful setting surrounded by other historic buildings. The surrounding Gardens and little walkways are a delight. Well worth taking time to visit.

Seven of us booked last Sunday. Some of us were local, some from Auckland and some from Hamilton. We all had different levels of experience in kayaking.
We loved it. The historic town tour was awesome. Even us locals learnt new facts. We really had a day that was spectacular. The clear Autumn day was truly one out of the box. Very little paddling was done as we just drifted down the river taking in all the native birds and the stunning view of Mt Te Aroha and the Kaimai ranges. We would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone!
