My family of 4 had never been scalloping before, but we did our research and Kyle came highly recommended on every online review. We had so much fun! We limited out, and I feel like we made a lifelong friend in the process. Next time we book a charter it will be with Kyle, and I recommend him for anyone considering booking a fishing/scalloping charter.

Captain Mike is awesome! My husband and son did a saltwater fishing tour with him this past weekend. He knew that we were coming from about two hours away, so he actually called us the day before to tell us that we could come a little later and it wouldn't hurt the fishing because of a low tide. I was really happy that I did not have to get up at 4:00 in the morning! It was very thoughtful of him to remember and call us. We got to the dock about 30 minutes early. He immediately met us there and made sure that I knew what was in the area (I did not go on the tour) and headed out with my husband and son. They left about 8:30 and returned to the dock about 1:30. They found black sea bass and caught them all day long. My husband says he could barely get his hook in the water before one was biting. My 12 year old son said he would rather do this than go to a theme park. Captain Mike was very friendly and helpful. They wound up with 31 big enough to keep. He also arranged for someone to meet them on the dock and clean them for a small charge. It was a great experience. We are already planning to return.

Every time we have been with Capt. Brian Smith, it has always been a great experience and this time was no exception. My wife Trudy has 2 different catches of fish that made the Woods N Water magazine. Capt. Brian always puts us on the fish. Can't wait until next trip.

Our first time scalloping and we had the best time! We started our day fishing and caught several fish but that was just extra because our goal was scalloping. So, we spent the remainder of our day in the water looking for those delicious things. While we were scalloping so was the captain. Don't forget your mask and snorkel. We didn't have fins and you don't really have to but I can see why one would want them if you plan on scalloping all day. We will definitely return and spend the day with Captain Mike.

Captain Brad Riddle is a great captain to get you on the fish and scallops! We had our scallop limit in about 45 minutes. Picking them up in 2's, 3's and even 4 at a time within just a couple of feet of each other. it was a blast!! His boat and equipment are immaculate, he comes prepared and when he says be there at 7:00 be early because he will be ready and waiting on you. Capt. Brad is also a very personable guy! He called me a few days before the trip to make sure we were ready and to see if we needed any information before coming from South Carolina. I enjoyed his company on the trip and his information about the area. I liked that he was genuinely interested in us and shared some of his own information and stories as we went. He scalloped with us and kept an eye on things checking on us regularly. We got our limit and finished early, so he offered to take me around a bit to a local sandbar or other places instead of rushing back in. When we got back to the marina he took time and talked to the people cleaning our scallops and spent time with us answering questions for us about the town and facilities. He took photos and movie clips while I Scalloped and posted them on Facebook for us to pickup the day after our trip!
Great guy and I would highly recommend him for your family or Individual fishing or scalloping trip.
