Bay view Golf Course

Bay view golf course is a very relaxed golf course with no strict dress code and never to much queuing time!! All of our members/staff are extremely friendly and there is no pressure when playing the course. Our fully licensed clubhouse provides lunch/dinners or light snack which can be enjoyed on our decking overlooking the golf course.

Lovely spot for a peaceful prayer or time of contemplation, and it was open when many churches are still closed

Pevensey Court House Museum & Geol

Reviewed By 320daneb - Herstmonceux, United Kingdom

My wife and I visited here for the first time today as we wanted to see something we hadn’t visited before. We were pleasantly surprised with how much we learned from our visit and would definitely suggest going if you want to increase your knowledge of the surrounding area and it’s history. Very enjoyable for an unplanned visit!

Pevensey Bay Beach

Reviewed By SnufflesBerkshire

A fast ride as the lower parts of beach very flat but superb. Visited daily on our break, can be windy but its Britain not the Costa del sol so pack a windbreak. Lots of shellfish at low tide and entertaining to watch the seagulls pick them up and drop into the rocks. Occasional deals which proved elusive to photograph. Body board friendly and would be good for canoes and windsurf. Waves not good enough for surfing that we saw. Warm enough in August.

Pevensey Castle

Reviewed By 1bungle - Bedford, United Kingdom

While on holiday to Hastings we visited Pevensey castle with our English heritage memberships, the weather was great so walking around outside was enjoyable to see everything and enjoy the view from the little platform at the top of the castle. There is a carpark nearby which is £2 a car for the whole day so after the castle you can go for some lunch I would recommend the priory court hotel and tea room, there is a small shop on the castle with a selection of gifts and some lovely jams for sale.
