Hi! and welcome to Octopus Diving Centre. Located just a couple minutes walk away from the beach, we are at a prime location in Pereybere. We are a small and friendly close knit company, formed in 2011 by our lead instructor Ludovic (AKA Octo) who has more than 15 years experience as a diving instructor. Our team are here to offer you exciting diving adventures in a safe and secure environment. In fact, safety and professionalism is at the core of our company. We welcome all divers of any level and we aim to cater your dives to your level in order to insure you the best possible experience. Here is some more basic information about our company to answer any questions you might have; Dives offered: Deep, drift, wreck, reef, night, Safaris. Courses offered: All PADI courses. Things you might see: Turtles, dolphins, sharks, whales (seasonal), stone fish, eels, octopus, clown fish and more. Prices: We offer value for money prices and discounts depending on how many of you are diving. We also offer a student discount to anyone who presents a valid student ID. Children: We welcome children aged 8 and above. Languages spoken: French and English. Octopus is among the best few dive shops in North of Mauritius. Despite Mauritius is not that lovely and attractive island to dive (in compare to other places worldwide) but this dive shop doing great efforts to make your dive perfect. The gears and equipments are well maintained, the staff are helpful, the diving spots they choose are good, their price is reasonable (because the single dive in Mauritius should not exceed 1500 Rib), they follow the safe procedure of PADI safety before and during the dive, their dive masters are responsible and safe. The only concern was during my dive, the boat was crowded with so many people we were about 13 or 16 person in small boat but something like that could be expected during the summer season.
Generally, i recommend this dive shop.

Myself and boyfriend got an open water ticket while on holiday. Myself being a nervous Diver, I have to say big thanks to my instructor Deborah who took her time and ensured I learnt all necessary skills encouraging me all the way.
At a time we didn’t realise how spoilt we are getting by this dive shop as we haven’t come across a friendlier and safer bunch. Thanks for the best possible start to our diving adventures!!!

From the day you arrive, you are among friends. Our Dive Masters give great briefings focusing on safety, and they know their fish and love their world. We offer PADI training packages and Island and Shark Safaris. We dive all the great dive sites around the North including cleaning stations, deep dives, wrecks and aquarium-like reef sites. We've done 4 dives in total, including one night dive and we enjoyed it. Drinks and snacks are ready before/after dive. Your halloween surprises have been awesome! Staff very helpful and friendy. It happened that some tanks haven't been full while "delivered" onto the boat....MoreThank you for diving with us and being part of the halloween fun. While we try to create a perfect diving experience every time, sometimes gremlins creep in. Thanks for noticing that the error was fixed and diving could continue.

We first found them online regarding the airport transfer. Transfer, car , price and driver - everything was good. Since this went well, we stayed with them for all the trips we made in Mauritius. We had a few missunderstanding for excursions but you can also clean everything out with the owner in the agency or also on the phone at any time. Just tell your wishes and you will get all the informations and suggestions. Very good team.

The Company is run by a couple -Zahir and Parveen who are one of the nicest people to interact with.They have the most astonishing proposals for you depending on your taste and preferences from tours to boat trips,blue safari,dolphin swimming and any other water sports. Used this company to transfer from sea port to Mauritius Airport. Reliable and waiting at the pre-determined time. Economically sound for four travellers at a reasonable price and comfortable vehicle with attentive driver. Ample room for luggage for four people. Would recommended this company.
