Complejo Turistico Salto Berrondo

It is all the different houses built by the diffrent imagrant groups that came to settle in Argentina. Nice calm clean place to take a stroll or let the kids ride their bikes or skateboard. Once a year they have a festival of all the imagrant that is highly recommended for good food and family fun..

Termas de la Selva

Reviewed By 1traveler67 - Winnipeg, Manitoba

We came here with another family and an elderly couple. The place is in a beautiful natural setting and surrounded by forest and Yerba plants. The place seems to attract mostly tourists from within Argentina, Paraguay, and some Brazilians. We did not meet any Europeans or North Americans. Communication could be an issue for someone not able to speak Spanish. Towels and bathrobes are available for rent and purchase. The three pools are of varying temperatures ranging from comfortable to quite hot.
In total the place has three pools. One pool was not available when we visited due to renovations to the walking areas around it. The place is currently replacing wooden walk areas with concrete and stone. Certainly an improvement because some of the wooden areas are rooting and you could hurt your feet with a few holes and or nails/srews. However, generally the place is kept in good repair.
All visitors are required to see a nurse/physician to check for blood pressure and a basic review of health rules to ensure safety in the thermals.
The place also offers a path for walking through the forest with opportunities for physical activities.

Jardin De Los Pajaros

As I work as tour guide, some times we stop in Oberá in order ti visit different ruins from the Jesuit Missions. Oberá has some nice attractions and obviously this place is not a top one in terms of bird sanctuary but once there worth a visit. Some enclosures are quite small but increasing the number of visitors the municipality might look to this place with different eyes. Is a safe and calm place to go.

Express Singer

Reviewed By AMsays - Thornhill, Canada

Took the Singer Express long distance bus from Puerto Iguazu to Buenos AIres (Retiro). We left at 14:50 and arrived at 09:30 the next day - 40 min late. For most of the route, we followed parallel to the Rio Parana. We sought the Cama seats (reclining 135 degrees) and paid a little more (Arg $ 1048). There were 4 double seats (8) and 4 single seats in the bottom level (our level). On this level was the bathroom and drink station. There were 3 bus drivers who interchanged frequently. We had a 30 min stop at a military/government check point where papers were exchanged, an hour into our trip. We passed by the towns of Eldorado, Posados, Federal, Zarate, Campana and Escobar. Drivers passed blankets and served a hot dinner at 10. Sodas, water and coffee were available on the bus at all times. Lights were dimmed between towns but watch your possessions. The bathroom was unusable on this occasion towards the end of the trip...
