The first Castle in Tarragona, Catalonia by 11th Century. Very interesting historical medieval castle. Appropriate by the whole family. Wholesome panoramic view of the Ebro River( Río Ebro). Affordable entrance fee and convenient souvenir store.

Ceramiques Ferran Segarra is actively involved in teaching his craft and in preserving traditional potteries of Miravet, such as faience containers, jugs, oil-measuring pitchers, vases, popular catalan cooking terracotta dishes and oil jars. Year after year, he gathered no less than 1000 antique ceramic items in his private museum located above the shop and opened to public upon request. Miravet has a lot to offer including the pottery shops and restaurants and a novel way to get there is by crossing the river Ebro by car or on foot using this wooden ferry which moves by the tide of the river only. It is extremely peaceful and relaxing and a good talking point.
