My Girlfriend and I had a great 5 day Safari in Selous & Mikumi NP, including pickup from our hotel in Dar es Salaam and drop off at the Ferry to Zanzibar. The trip was well organised and the diversity in wild life seen during the boat, jeep and walking safari was stunning. Said was a superb driver and guide who made every effort to make our trip enjoyable. He even went out of his way to arrange ferry tickets for us so we wouldn’t miss the boat. I highly recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris and the guide Said.

Very interesting tour, highly recommend a professional guide to learn as much as possible from the history of this place. The UNESCO World Heritage site includes sultan's castle and his trade centers, religious site (cemeteries, mosques), the massive fortified castle, very well conserved, and more. Recommended!
