The park is so well maintained. It has grills and tables for your picnic and we had a lovely picnic on a warm sunny February Saturday. There is much for children to do and of course, the park is dog friendly. Don't miss the Horticulture Center. There are flowering plants, even in February, ground cover and bushes and most are labeled. There is an irrigation display and water efficient areas with cacti and yucca. Special programs are offered and you can visit the vineyard, orchard and herb area. There are also community gardens.Volunteers help to keep this center beautiful.

The owners have cared for (and loved) all four horses that I have owned in the past eight years. The facilities are well-maintained and clean as a whistle. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and always helpful. I chose Shadow Oaks to semi--retire my horse because I knew that he would be taken care of by folks who would treat him like one of their own.
