During December of 2019, my son, daughter-in-law, some of my grandchildren, and I, visited he farm for our annual Christmas visit. As usual, the staff created a friendly, festive atmosphere, to provide the perfect setting for the perfect holiday memories. We rode in a horse-drawn wagon, which carried us through the woods which were brightly lit with coloful lights and animated characters. There was music throughout the trails, and we were brought to "Santas Village" where we proceeded to a bonfire, and a visit with Santa, the Grinch, Frosty, Rudolf and other friends. All were more than happy to pose for pictures with the children....and with others who were children at heart! We visited the Reindeer barn, before being taken back to another bonfire at the beginning of our trip. We visited many animals in various barns, and it was tough to break the children away from the very playful goats! Each year, I try to increase the number of family members who can join us on this event, and each year, we attend as many themed events as possible. I highly recommend Charmingfare Farm as a family friendly outing, any time of the year. I am particularly partial of the animals, and I can't compliment the staff enough, for their friendly, welcoming demeanor. I look forward to attending the next themed event....which for my family will probably be the Easter Egg Hunt. Judy L.

During the weekend, I and a group of friends visited Candia Vineyard to taste some of their wines. It is one of the better vineyards in New England! We had a great time tasting the different types of wine. Our host/vintner was a breath of fresh air and very knowledgeable about the wine making process. We took home a few outstanding bottles of red wine, We highly recommend a visit to this winery if you are in the area and enjoy quality wine.
