"Medvědárium" (the-place-where-the-bears-are:-) is located on the hill Městská hora. Park in nearby streets or just walk from the city centre to reach the bears (they are popular for casting in Czech tales for children as cubs). Here you can have some refreshments and kids enjoy big wooden playground under the trees. Also take a short hike to the watchtower on the top of the hill. Best place in Beroun (except from the micro-brewery Medvěd).

A beautiful town.The gate is impressive.Take plenty of time to walk round.This is not a tourist full place ,it's quiet and welcoming.

Very nice ancient ruins - they are located around old city area with Hus Square in the middle.
There is a "green" area along walls - people walk along it.
By the way, there are no any high buildings near these walls - so modern small buildings do not contrast with walls - the common view looks like united architectural ensemble.

Atraktivní prostředí v bývalém bunkru, vynikající lektor. Každý se naučí účinnou sebeobranu nebo zacvičí Čchi -kung a Tai-či, Nyní i v centru Berouna v budově Medicentra se od února zahajuje cvičení Tai-či, což je místo přístupné pro všechny, kteří Berounem i projíždějí .

had a great hour or so here with a large section of pumpkins. Had a hot pumpkin soup and a sausage. Staff are very nice. Enjoyed our time.
