We make the annual trek to see the Way of Lights display at the shrine. The lights are amazing. However, there is always the restaurant in which to dine. There are chidren's activities. A holiday wreath display has an endless variety of designer wreaths. And the Christmas tree display is one of a kind.

Eckert's Belleville Farm

We went as a large work group to pick up pumpkins. There is plenty of parking. We loaded onto wagons that took us out to the field where we all picked our own pumpkin. It was also apple picking time, so that was an option as well. The store there has beautiful items and is fun to look through. You can also buy food items as well. I think this is a nice place to take the family for a fun day out. The facility is very nice.

We love this place! More of a real farm feel than Eckerts and not as busy. Besides having fun picking apples, blackberries, tomatoes, pumpkins, etc (depending on the season) the homemade donuts are AMAZING. we love the iced blueberry donuts the most! Family run farm and really family oriented with the kids play area.

If you live in the Belleville area this theatre sure beats driving to Shiloh or elsewhere. Concession stand prices are very reasonable. The main theatre has a nice vintage ornate feel and we have never had a bad experience there. Welcome change over chain theaters.

Work in progress - five different air force planes in a park setting. Cement walkway from the parking lot to the large grassy park-setting. Then some more cement walkways around each plane. On a nice day, plenty of area for kids to get a chance to see different sizes of planes and run aroud. Even saw some roller-blading on the sidewalks! Right outside main gate to Scott AFB - easy to get to.
