Visit the place for nice pictures during lunch time. Impressed by exteriors, even the mosaic of the dome is scattered everywhere around.

There are two museums, one on each side of the street. One is art (paintings, mostly) with many rooms of surprisingly good art. Some traditional Kazakh yurt scenes, some more contemporary - but very good, many woodcuts and other non-paint formats. Here an English-speaking guide provided context and enriched the visit. This is worth the Tenge. Directly across the street is the natural history regional museum. Again, this is a very large place with numerous galleries to showcase their extensive collection. Yes, staff turn lights on as you progress through the rooms, but I find this typical of regional museums in Kazakhstan. The Atyrau Golden Man is here. One of the few that have been discovered. His golden armour shines and he appears to be a fierce batyr (warrior). Both of these are great regional musems and worth the Tenge that supports them.

The facility is OK; the lanes work well and are maintained. The prices for bowling are Ok.
The prices are very high; inparticular the drink and snacks. It is utter nonsense that they only have expensive brands of water and their soft drink prices are some of the highest in the city. And don't get me started on the beer prices!

We just been to Baizaar mall at Atyrau this weekend & had enjoyed it. There are many factory outlets , eating space and of course children's gaming zone also.This could be good suggestion for shopping with fun for family, friends or couples.

The best cinema in the city, while it's quite poor versus peers from bigger cities. Cash office works far from perfection, queues are not followed, not enough space to ensure that it is not overcrowded etc.

This place is located in the heart of the city towards Europe. When I say Europe , you will wonder to know that the River Oral separate the Atyrau City in 2 parts Asia and Europe. Nice place to visit with family n friends for site seeing and memorable photography.
