El Gaitero cider factory tour was very enjoyable. Visitors are guided through the entire locale and the guides share the rich history of the factory as well as interesting facts about production and export of this tasty Asturian drink. Throughout the entire tour, you will see all sorts of memorabilia and mechanical implements that were utilized in the production and promotion of the product. The walk through the bodega is truly impressive and the complimentary tasting at the end of the tour is the icing on the cake. To make the visit more enjoyable, familiarize yourself with old videos of the factory. One such video is a silent turn of the century movie titled Bellezas de Asturias. Hope your visit is as pleasurable as it was for our party.

Stopped by at 1pm for a tour run by the wonderful Fernando. Informative and entertaining, Fernando has excellent English and the cheeses tasted delicious. Well worth the stop! Highly recommended for all.
