Some friends recommended the Island Way Grill and I am so glad that they did. We had a fabulous evening. We shared the grouper fritters and they were tasty and pleasantly spicy. Some of our party ordered oysters, which were also excellent. The island way house salad was very good. I enjoyed the addition of jicama and roasted pumpkin seeds. My son had the crab cakes and the rack of lamb and thought both were delicious. I had the grouper with jasmine rice bowl. The fish tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. The rice bowl was flavorful. You could taste the coconut and Asian seasoning. One of our friends was on a diet and trying not to order carbs. The menu had enough variety to allow her to do that. Another person in our party had the Tomahawk chop and was very impressed. Portions were appropriately sized. Everyone finished their meal. This is an upscale restaurant, but I think the prices are very fair for the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the excellent service. This restaurant is very consistent in their very good service, top quality of food and taste, authentic atmosphere and clean environment. The sushi is freshly prepared to order and the main dishes are served nice and warm. The servers are friendly and responsive. Plenty of parking is available. Take out orders are accepted as well.

1/4of the space is the sushi, primarily takeaway. The other 3/4 is the Ha long bay viet area for Vietnamese cuisine. Spur of the moment decision; Friday at 615pm we were able to be seated immediately. Glad we did. Spot eggrolls, viet springrolls (beautifully prepared), spot special sandwich, wonton soup. Oh my.... a taste delight! Fresh veg, excellent sharp herbs like cilantro. Everything was fresh, tasty & worth the price or more. A ârepeaterâ for sure!!!! Quick service! In the middle of Largo Mall.

We often visit this restaurant for business lunch. The lunch specials and service are always very good. I love the pad thai. Others continuously order garlic chicken and fried rice.

This buffet used to be amazing, but the last two times we came here the quality of the food is lacking. The prime rib was cold, extremely tough and fatty. We didn't have reservations on Saturday night and sat outside even though the dining room was half full with tons of empty seats. The hostess claimed they were for reservations even though their was no one waiting. The seafood was tasteless and all of the breads were extremely hard. The bbq chicken was the best thing and their was no other meat or steak option. Drinks and plates were served and cleared quickly by the best thing of the night our sever Yvanna.She was extremely pleasant, very friendly and most helpful. Being outside we got to see an amazing sunset, and Yvanna even offered to take pictures of us. She definitely made the night.We most likely will not come back to to Ocean Flame based on the past two experiences. Thank you for your feedback. We hope that you will visit again as we have made changes to the buffet recently.

3 girlfriends having dinner with no reservation, but there was plenty of room at the high top tables in the bar! Chris T. was our server. We had a delicious meal, 2 of us had the yummy shrimp & grits and our friend had what looked like a loaded lobster roll! The house chardonnay wine was good - crisp and light - perfect with the shrimp.Thank you giving us the opportunity to serve you!
