Está enfrente de la plaza del Ayuntamiento de Ugijar . Sus tapas están buenÃsimas! Imprescindible probar el monchito y la hamburguesa, barato, y el personal inmejorable, desde luego yo le doy un 10! 100% recomendable
Note that the location details in TripAdvisor are wrong. It is located in Ctra. Puerto de La Ragua just at the intersection with Ctra. Mairena and the main road up to the mountain pass (La Ragua). The restaurant recently changed hands and so much for the better. One can now enjoy the wonderful views from most Sears and the terrasse is greatly improved. Soon there will be an open grill there. They have a good selection of wines and some superb artisan craft beer from the same village.Food is good and the tapas are well prepared and better than most places in Alpujarra.

The selection of starters was so interesting that we made a meal out of them, lots of different dishes that you don't see often. The restaurant doesn't look much from outside and it looks like a canteen a bit inside but the good and service are both very good. It's easy to find, right next to the gas/petrol station. Thanks you so much for your opinion. We´d love to see you around here again!!!Regards!
We visited this friendly bar twice whilst staying over in Yegen . 2E for a bottle of Alhambra with excellent free tapas, deep fried white fish, Serrano Jammon, and tomatoes, olives and pickles as one of us is a vegetarian ( was better than it sounds with lovely tasty tomatoes and dressing). We also lunch here and had a huge tortilla and an equally huge salad again with a gorgeous dressing. We also accompanied our lunch with two bottles of beer, all for 23E. Recommended. No English spoken but then again we should learn Spanish , which we will.

We arrived around 21:30hrs after travelling by coach from Cordoba via Granada., a journey that took hours. On arrival in Yegen all the bars/restaurants in the village centre were closed. A local gentlemen ( thank you Antonio) took us to El Rincon after circumnavigating the village looking for somewhere to eat. We were not actually staying at the hotel itself but the hostess was lovely and we enjoyed two beers, free tapas and a large vegetarian pizza. Recommended

We have been going to El Puente for Sunday lunch for several years. This time, we had not been for more than 6 months and it was nice to experience that food and ambience had retained it's high standards. Many local families go here for their Sunday lunch and that is of course the best proof of good value for money. For tapas seekers, there is no tapas menu but what you get is always served freshly cooked and there is a different tapa with each drink. To us, El Puente is one of the very best places to eat in the eastern part of Alpujarra -Granada province. Going further east, into Alpujarra - Almeria province, you are more spoilt for choice than in the Granada province.

The azahara is a great place, good food at reasonable prices and a lovely sunny terrace in good weather. We had the special new years eve dinner here and we weren't disappointed. Several courses with lots of little appetisers in between. At 50 euro each including drinks, it was good value and made for a great night.I love the azahara any time, for meals or drinks. We will be back.
